Protank issue

I got my first protank yesterday after reading all of the positive reviews. I filled it and put it on my vamo v2. Nothing happened. I switched to a fully charged batty. Nothing. I figured it was a dud head. Changed heads. Finally! I gaped for about 1/2 hr and every few hits tasted burnt. Then.... Nothing!?!?!? WTH? Why won't it work? I finally got frustrated enough to go back to my vivi nova. Perfect! What am I doing wrong?

Do you have good contact between the positive pole on the Protank and the positive pole on the Vamo? (the middle contact plate)
Maybe your Vivi have this middle plate a pit "popped-out", and the protank is flush with the rest of the body.

happened with mine. first attempt it didnt work. then it started working with the same coil but burnt out and just sucked all around. lucky for me the second coil is working alot better. Now I just have to deal with the flavorless taste

The contact seems to be fine. It worked for a bit then just died

Just got mine yesterday and haven't used it yet as I'm cleaning the oil smell off the coils. Anyway I read somewhere that the pin in the base pulls out a little. Others were having this problem and that's what they did and it fixed it. I had to practically unscrew the beauty ring and the Protank from the battery for it to work. I gave up.

new head, new juice= AMAZING took my most hated juice and filled up my protank and its working and tasting so good now. so weird because I hated that juice so much. running great set to 4.6v on my ego twiste , nice warm vap, less airy draw, lots of vap and flavor. almost feels like im using a cartotank now. if it stays this good It may become my new favorite

These things have happened to me too. The getting nothing part was caused by my not having the shaft part screwed all the way into the bottom cap tightly. The burnt taste thingy - I use the condom it came with to put a little juice in, then push the new shaft/head part down into it so the juice comes through the top of the shaft, then let it sit in there a few minutes before installing it. Seems to have solved the problem.
