Protank: when should the coil be changed?

I'm trying to make vaping as cheap as possible keep it low.. I don't have that much budget... That's why I'd never think about rebuilding on my own because the two videos I watched on YouTube previously looked like I need to purchase extra few tools.. But now that I know all I really need is my vamo (ohms reader), wire and wick I feel a lot better about rebuilding now

I found this in another post, used it this week while traveling : http://vaporsearchusa.com/index01.html : I spent about a hour chatting at a vape meet and got to practice building coils before I got into it

My first pro tank coils were barley 1.4 ohm, now closer to 2 ohm, takes practice - the materials are cheap enough you can scrap a couple no worries, Lol, when you get your stuff let me know if you have any questions

I seem to get about 2 weeks at the most. Everyone else says I should get more, but I never do.

Depends what you are vaping, how much, how hard - and how sensitive your taste buds are, I would say there is no one size fits all answer

I like to measure my use in ml of juice, I am probably around 12 ml per coil @ 5.5W and 2ohm

With light colored juice at 50/50 pg/vg - dark color would be less run time, artificially sweetened would be less run time, not sure of the effects of different vg/pg ratio (I haven't noticed much of a difference on coil longevity)
