Theecig.com sell an awesome pyrex glass drip dip for the even more awesome i06 atty. Please beware however that these are glass, and of course will all fit the same atty differently.

I bought two drip tips, one in black and one clear. I received my new i06's yesterday, two 1.5's and two 3.5's. I slapped a 3.5 on my LT right away and broke out the black drip tip I had so eagerly been waiting to try. Fitment is good with that one.

So now I wanted to see what the clear one looks like. I wiggle the black one off and put on the clear one, which is a much tighter fit. A little too tight. I ended up not being able to get it off. I should have just left it on there for the life of the atty, but for whatever reason I was determined to get it off. Hindsight is 20/20, right?

Well it came off, along with the shell of the atty, leaving a trail of guts behind and hanging off of my LT.

That's one of the reasons I don't use glass. I also don't wan't it breaking about the time I inhale vapor.

I've lost 2 glass and 5 or maybe 6 of ikenvape swirly tips like this.... Also both of my wharf sleeves have been lost this same way... And of course all the attys I've lost because of casings coming apart.. This has been an expensive learning curve.... I've been vaping 3 yrs... I LOVE these attys but quality control sucks, does anyone care? This is a ton of money spent on a product that's been doing this since they came out...is something being done about this? Or are we suppose to just deal with this? Once or twice I understand, but every other atty breaking????

Well, I can take the blame on one or two or even three, but these attys are eating away the money I'm spending on tips, most of the tips came directly from ikenvape. I can stomach a few breaking off but the numbers are rising, I'm losing my invesment in tips because the atty casings are getting stuck in my tips. I will continue to buy them because no other atty compares. All I want is for the atty to stay put together and stop stealing my tips and sleeves. Is this unreasonable? I don't know but I believe I read somewhere that the "new" batch would not have this problem. Ikens attys are the BEST but this is getting annoying. Im simply posting my experience with these attys, unfortunately, I guess I'll just have keep buying extra tips everytime I order attys.

I had one in all the ones I've used come apart and it's from jamming the tip on to far when they first came out. Since then I've learned how to use them. If your going to press anything on them they will come apart like any other tube you put on a two piece object like that. It only took me once to learn how to properly use them.

From what I recall, Isaac had the manufacturer researching ways to reduce atomizers separating. But also, what the hell are you guys doing to them lol... I've not had a single io6 separate using every and all drip tips and tubes that have come out for it. And I've had upwards of 30 or so io6's, going back to beta.

I think they're pushing the tips on too far making them too tight. Some of the tips won't go all the way on because they are too tight all the way down. I've only had my first one do it then I never put them on that far again.

I've been vaping three plus yrs. I'm pretty confidant I understand how to use tips and attys by now. These attys come apart very easily, I've pulled my pv out of my pocket and the atty is hanging there. I've never ask for a refund or a replacement or even emailed Issac, but if I was on a vaping budget, I would be upset that my hard earned money was going down the drain. The tips do fit differently, I understand that, some are even so loose you can't even use them without them coming off, most are tight or to tight in my experience, if I was not a member of this forum how would I know these sometimes don't fit properly?

With all my I06's, I have not ever had one come apart, and in fact, I have never had one quit working. I actually prefer the dt that Issac sells, so maybe that has something to do with it. I don't care how long you have vaped; if you are rough with the equipment, you will feel the effects. (I have a riding lawn mower that shudders when I walk toward it!).

Try putting a little PAM on your finger and rub it on your I06, and see if that helps.

I think that's it. Other tips, although nice, aren't made for them and the ones he makes are made specifically for ikenvape I06's.

I have ruined a lot of stuff for that very reason.

I just want to chime back in and thank everyone for their input! Also I want to point out that this was never meant to be a shot at Issac over the quality of his i06 atty's. I think the construction and quality is great. And like with many PV atty's and other accessories, you have to have a gentle touch with this equipment or you're going to break something. You can’t just man handle everything and think that it with stand the test of time. The thread was just put out there as a warning for the newcomer.:2cool:

Furthermore, I absolutely LOVE these pyrex tips made by theecig.com. They were made specifically for the i06 by request and they do work wonderfully. Like said in the original post, fitment just varies slightly, so be careful when putting these on and taking these off your atty. BE gentle! :)

I also found that using a very small clear silicone o-ring (like out of the top of a ce4) on the sleeve and then putting the pyrex tip on so that the o-ring butts up against the bottom of the tip ELIMINATES any seeping between the glass and the sleeve. And you can't even see it.:2c:

If it means anything, the tips made by Bert (Trippy Tips for io6) are fantastic. Perfect fit on all of my io6's... but I don't know if he has released them yet and I'm not about to cough mine up :p

I just wished one of the geniuses that are on ECF (and there are quite a few) would figure out how to fix it so it wasn't dial up speed going from one post to another. Oh and my PC is new plus it doesn't happen anywhere else so it's not my pc.:D

Yeah, good luck telling the powers that be that it's anything except your PC. Been down this road, it's the biggest reason I don't come to the forums anymore.
