Wow! OK, Most of my tips are from Iken, maybe it's foolish of me to think they should fit the atty they are made for. Who said Anything about being rough? If the tip doesn't go all the way down I don't force it down on my own, but it does happen sometimes in my pocket. When you try and separate the two, the casing stays in the tube rendering it useless. My stating that I have been vaping three yrs. was just to let you know I'm not a newbie. I don't care rather you care or not. I dont care about your mower either which has nothing to do with anything in this thread. I buy Ikenvape products for their quality, my entire atty/carto stash is 90% ikenvape product. I'm not taking shots at ikenvape. I just can't believe these attys are coming apart so effortlessly. Maybe I'm just getting bad batches, I don't know. I'm glad some of you aren't having this problem, but I know others are. With that being said, I hope my next batch is better. I'm not a hater, I'm loyal to Iken, just would like more constancy in this particular atty, that happens to be my favorite!

I've been vaping three plus yrs. I'm pretty confidant I understand how to use tips and attys by now. These attys come apart very easily, I've pulled my pv out of my pocket and the atty is hanging there. I've never ask for a refund or a replacement or even emailed Issac, but if I was on a vaping budget, I would be upset that my hard earned money was going down the drain. The tips do fit differently, I understand that, some are even so loose you can't even use them without them coming off, most are tight or to tight in my experience, if I was not a member of this forum how would I know these sometimes don't fit properly?
Aww Rockstar, I wish you would have really. that's the kind of feedback I need and plus I wouldn't let anyone walk away feeling as if their money went down the drain. Feel free to shoot me an emailtime and I'll take care of what has been damaged. I had worked on the last two batches to make the fittings stronger, but it seems we have to step it up. My only dillema is, the only solution I can think of (as I'm working on another project) is to use a different type of fitting, which consists of a different metal compound, but then price point comes into play and having to charge more is something i don't want to have to do, but if it can lead to a greater good..It's just a tough decision to make.

I just want to chime back in and thank everyone for their input! Also I want to point out that this was never meant to be a shot at Issac over the quality of his i06 atty's. I think the construction and quality is great. And like with many PV atty's and other accessories, you have to have a gentle touch with this equipment or you're going to break something. You can’t just man handle everything and think that it with stand the test of time. The thread was just put out there as a warning for the newcomer.:2cool:

Furthermore, I absolutely LOVE these pyrex tips made by theecig.com. They were made specifically for the i06 by request and they do work wonderfully. Like said in the original post, fitment just varies slightly, so be careful when putting these on and taking these off your atty. BE gentle! :)

I also found that using a very small clear silicone o-ring (like out of the top of a ce4) on the sleeve and then putting the pyrex tip on so that the o-ring butts up against the bottom of the tip ELIMINATES any seeping between the glass and the sleeve. And you can't even see it.:2c:

You rock!! A good way to prevent this kind of breakage is to to ofcourse, only place the dt on till it's a bit snug, but removing is the key here. What i learned from using Bert's awesome io6 dts was to actually grab the drip tip and turn clockwise (making the atty tighter on to the unit, using it's leverage to rotate) while pulling off at the same time. I had an atty separated and just practiced the method while attending vapestock and voila. John from the e-cig dt's are pretty awesome. I was on the phone with him for 2+ hours today and we created a mutual partnership. So io6's will be coming to the-ecig as his infamous dt's will be coming to IKV.He has a ton of plans for newly designed pieces of artistic drip tips and the best i can is to Hold tight because there's going to be some amazing things coming soon!
Your avatar is Awesome btw!

All I use now is glass and it's the best way to top an i06 :)

Take your hairdryer and heat the TrippyTip up just a bit and it slides off like Butter, I've found this is the best way to remove them :) just no better Tip on the Market, Issac and Bert doing business together is a match made for the vaping heavens :)

Best dang Atty/TrippyTip combo out there :)
