Daniel, thanks for the review. I enjoyed it. Does that have the ability to change adapters and use 801 or 901 with it? I am thinking about getting a pv and this might be the one for me. It sure looks nice. I have it down to 4 to choose from. Just can't make up my mind.

yes, the top cap of the device is interchangeable, you can order the kit with the adapter of your choice, and then the other adapters you can purchase individually for other atomizer designs.

well, how it works with the other atomizers isn't quite a valid concern, i think your question on that is more about which atomizer YOU like best. the device is only powering the atomizers, so the performance of the atomizer is really just that...the atomizer.

you'll find some people prefer 510, 901, 801...and most is user preference.

most people don't rest until they've tried them all, and ultimately decide on which fits them best.

i will say, the 510 atomizer seems to be the current fan favorite though. at least it seems more people talk about 510 devices than most of the others.

I would like to see you do another review after using it for sometime to let us know how much you actually use it when you have the option of grabbing either the Prodigy or the Protege on the way out the door.

I have the Prodigy and the Screwdriver and I still grab my Prodigy most of all. I am truly spoiled on the 5v. I know what you are saying about flavors and such but... you know... My Screwdriver doesn't get used much... (And I have a 510 adaptor for it)... So I have talked myself out of the Protege more than a few times in the past two weeks. It looks like a really nice little device though...

If you put a 18650 battery in your Prodigy you will see why the diameter is a little big on the RCR123s. That big battery is a tight fit.....

Glad you are happy with it, I just would like to know what you think about it down the road...

O BTW nice review... Appreciate it.

I love my Protege too but I was hoping I could use a cart on it for driving and such that's why I got the 510 adapter...nope....I guess I will always be a dripper...
I tried the cart and didn't like it.

Well, if you're going to drip at least make it easy on yourself and pick up an e-Dobbit or something. Much easier/quicker than trying to make sure those few drops actually make it on your atty's wick...

Like a lot of people, I had trouble with 510 carts too until I found Rhoneil's PTB mod (not the regular PTB mod.) I do 'em a little differently than his, but they make all the difference in the world.
