Just out of interest and it has probable already been said somewhere here but when will it be available and how much will Proteus cost. What size bat does it take. I haven't been keeping up with it because i think it may be out of my price range?
Looks like the best part of three months away still - last I heard. It would take a 14500 battery...
The cost - I don't think much is "nailed down" yet. Though with the electrical part - 180 ish was the last number I remember. Maybe I'm wrong? But in that area I reckon...:matrix:

I am hoping for two things.
Rock solid electronics that doesn't interfere with mech mod experience. Even if it means less features, I just want some that is stable and delivers consistent performance for long time. Component that can be taken out for easy cleaning of mod itself. Hence, no glue.

Staying with GG tradition, the build quality has to be top notch. I have no doubt that Imeo will deliver this. (otherwise he couldn't sleep) :D
Even if it means a bit higher price, use the top quality material for the best performance and finish.

Not asking for much. Just another perfect mod. :D

proteus must be a 14500 apv by heart... not a little here and a bit mech mod there...

it will be 3 times the price as other apv devices in the 14500 range.
(provari 18350-18650 is in the same price range and probably the market leader, but cant count as competitor on eye level - proteus customers will expect more for their money).

price justified:
- 1st time higher --- for its overall looks (small/slim/shiny/special)
- 2nd time higher --- for its lasting quality (material and finish of tube/electronics)
- 3rd time higher --- a good and distinctive idea (either with electronics or built)

though, GG could still go down with the price - to e.g. 130 euros. :D
most important, release before easter.

price will be at 180 euros guys. You already know that the price is my cost doubled. So my cost is 90 euros, 45 for electronic part and 45 for mechanical construction.

If you see cheaper mechanical mods out there, its because of several reasons. The common reasons are no innovation at all and lower quality.

You may know that I spend a lot of hours per day, thinking of new ways to make a better e-cig, and you also know that all mechanical e-cigs out there are made the way GGs are made. Front button cigs exactly like GGSlim, telescopes, air control with a ring around the connector, adjustable center pin with a screwed center post, etc.

If I start stealing ideas and lowering quality a little, I can make much cheaper e-cigs but its not my style

Hi Imeo, sorry if this is a stupid question. This is my first time on a list like this but I don't see myself on the list in the first post yet? Or is that not neccessary?

AW is our first choice and I am now testing efest. They look good until now Sad

Hi, from my microscopic experience with AW and Efest with 'kick' , from evolv, version 1 then 2 and smoktech version, i v noticed on 2 different lot of the 2 brands for a total of 6 batteries tested, both in 18350 and 18500 sizes that the Efest tend to cut very early, soon as 3.3.v even 3.7v, were AW stops at 2.9 /3.0 v in the exaxt same condition of cig, rohm, charge, kick. On a dicode chipset version of the Orion v3, both brand works well ... Certainly nothing comparable and nothing 'scientific' just my 2 cents ...
