Imeo, I hope this isn't a stupid question, but, since VIR is currently only going to be able to recognize titanium, if we have a Penelope V1, will it work since we have to use NR wire too?
I think I answered my own question, but I assume it will only read the resistance wire and ignore the NR?

That wouldn't make sense. That would mean that Proteus would only work with the V3 version of Penelope.
I would think that the NR wire would almost act like the posts in the V3 version.

That's depressing. Do you have any plans on producing any more Penelope V3s anytime soon? Rob and ESG have both been out of stock for a while.
Is there one NR wire that works better than another?
Or...is there a possibility for a upgrade kit (like the upgraded internals for the Ithaka) for the V1 (and, of course the V2)?

Beco, all Penelope users wants the 14500 mod. I will be very happy with proteus.
10 batts a day needs a very heavy vaper Beco. Most of people want a thin short, healthy, beautiful e-cig to vape 4-6 ml per day
That sounds awesome Imeo. With the V3 mini, would we be able to pick up the other V3 parts to build a full-size V3? Will it be compatible with the other V3 parts? Do you know what the price is going to be?

V3 mini has some compatible parts with previous penelope v3 SS. Better try the Penelope mini first and then we will make all the needed parts for a longer penelope. These parts will be made together with the big "GG missing parts preorder" that will start in about 10-15 days
Guys use silver wires as NR, twist it many times and I am sure it will work with titanium. As far as I am aware, VIR will detect temperature based on resistance. Silver has enough low resistance to be negligible in front of the titanium wire especially if you make it thick.
