I'm with you guys on the ZNA. Definitely looks cool but all the reasons you guys mentioned are why I decided against it. I'm on the preorder at SS vape for the Hana V3. I've only heard great things about it. It's going to be a long wait though. Thats the great thing about the XPV. The wait time is nothing compared to other dna mods.

One thing I haven't seen anybody mention and it makes me wonder if it's new to the DNA 30 edition but when I wake my XPV up from sleep mode it says Protovapor on the screen which is a nice touch. They must of had Evolv program them to do that.
Well i have heard brandon say if you pay for it he will put anything on the board you want. when my xpv arrives if it says protovapor when i wake it up it will definitely be a nice cherry ontop of the vaping cake that will appreciate
I sorta figured they had lost those old orders, but late last night I got an e-mail from them quoting my old order and asking me to re-enter it in the new site. The catch is, I had just scored a lightly used Hana Modz V2 in the classies for about the same money, so I'm going to put off ordering a second XPV for a bit. I'm confident I'll get one eventually. I have sneaking suspicion that Hana is going to be more of a "sit on my desk and look pretty" mod than the XPV, which is the "goes everywhere with me" mod.
In fact I dropped my XPV pretty hard the other day. Both it and the R91 that as mounted to it kept right on vaping, but I may have tweaked the 510 connector ever so slightly off-axis in the top plate.
You mean it no longer says "Check Battery" no matter how well charged the battery is?
i think that "check battery" is supposed to be "checking battery" as in that is when it does the handshake with the battery to profile it's internal resistance and output

If I had to take a wild guess, the DNA-30 uses a different (newer? slightly more expensive?) MCU with more ROM in it.

probably, both the 20 and 30 are the same price directly from evolve (at least when i checked last month that is). so it could either be a bigger chip or they saved room on programming before flashing the chip.Yep, I know what it's supposed to be. Look at what steam monkey has done with his RDA's, hell he even has his own z2 tubes an such. But as you said a 18650 model would be nice 18490 just doesn't do it for me, unless it's a midget mod like dis...
Love this lil mech it's so tiny!!! Hits like a champ as well.
Oh, and I'm stalking my inbox for my ship date on my xpv I needs it badly.

Mine took four days to ship but one of those days was presidents day so you would probably get it Tuesday or Wednesday if it ships tomorrow. He sends it 3-day priority.

That's an excellent combo. I like playing with different devices, but if I had to standardize and have just one type of power source and one type of topper, the power sources would all be XPVs and the toppers would all be and R91 or KFL+.
The Russians are of course blatant copies of the Kayfuns. I'd prefer to buy genuine SvoeMesto products in order to reward the people who originally designed these fantastic toppers, but actually finding and getting hold of real ones is not easy. In fact, I've been haunting VapeRev pretty much every day hoping to score a real KFL+ soon.
You know I definitely considered this. What prompted me to go ahead with the R91 was the fact that it is available. If SvoeMesto doesn't want to supply there excellently engineered device then that is a business choice made by them. I cant and wont jump through incredible hoops when the manufacture isn't even willing to keep up with the demand of the device, to me that says something. Plus what sold me on the R91 was the fully adjustable center post. Wish I could have had the native 510 drip tip but I will say the R91 has a nice one piece look to it.

Its channel narrows considerably at the very end, which increases the velocity of the vapor right at the point where it enters your mouth. This produces a different experience (and possibly more flavor) than more conventional mouthpieces. I kinda wish somebody would copy that design in a conventional drip-tip 'cause I'd like to try it on some of my other toppers just to see what effect it has on them.

I have to agree. It's one thing if these things were readily available. The other day I had just finished watching a Pbusardo video where he and Dimitri were giving so much love to the Kayfun. I wanted to try it, even though I had awful luck re-coiling Kangers.
I had an extra Benji or so, thanks to Uncle Sam, and went to try and buy an original...you know...to reward the original designer, and everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING is out of stock.
If he has limited production capability, I understand, and a short little message saying so would go a long way.
But it seems as if he is artificially keeping supply low to enhance the rarity of a real one and make ownership a bit of a status symbol which just seems a little elitist.
Well, that's not how I wagon wheel.
maybe svoemaesto could have a site like protovapor where you order one and they make it? i mean they should know that if you put it up then people will come

Thanks for the notice. Protovapor just posted an update on their site stating that the lead times have been pushed back a little:
Orders that were ordered on the old site using the form, that have been paid via the new payment gateway: 5-7 business days from payment.
Orders that are ordered and paid entirely on the new site via the new payment gateway: 10-20 business days from payment.
I placed my order on Tuesday 2/18, which would mean Monday 2/24 would be my 5th day since payment.
Alsooo, I saw that they don't operate nor ship on Saturdays. I'm glad; they deserve a relaxing, stress-free weekend since they have created such a beautiful thing.
