Dripper, XPV, 10ml each of H1N1 and Radioactive and I am set for the next 20+ hours. I carry back up in my lunch box but not sure why really.
I sent my cash for a third one this weekend. Private sale so I should have it by the end of the week.

Man protovapor is awesome. Just saw on the site that anyone with a order processing is getting the vtc5 automatically if you requested a vtc4. Also put up three new colors!

I just want to make sure I have this right, My order number is 503, and it still says processing. Does this mean i'll get the VTC5? I have a few at the house right now, and I had planned to swap it out when it got here. But sounds awesome! It would save me the time and hassle of soldering a battery haha

I went to buy on of those it was the dna 30 version and I had it in the checkout for $119.00 and the next day I said its a go because I slept on the thought of buying my third dna, I went to my cart and it was $129.00, I noticed that the night that Twisted420 <---(My bud) did a review they jacked the price up. Now I know the price is still good and the DNA chip is a DNA chip, I would not have done that. They look bad in my eyes. I am not knocking a company but that is what they did.

If I get what I think the OP is saying??? That Protovapor jacked the price up by ten dollars on the device overnight while they were deciding to buy but,this is incorrect because,the XPV was NEVER $119.00 at ANY time.

Correct. I'm pretty sure the lowest price it was ever offered for was $185, back in early January, when there was basically no order backlog.

Since then the demand for the product has increased substantially and when demand outstrips a business' ability to produce their product, a smart business will raise their prices a bit to try to bring supply and demand back into balance. The risk in this is that some potential customers may then turn to a competitor instead, but right now, there really isn't one to turn to. Even at $205, it's still the lowest-priced, full-capacity DNA-30 mod out there.

Yea that and the Vapor Shark DNA 30 (only $169!) are the lowest priced ones I know of and there the most easily available (go figure). Only negative I see in both is not being able to switch the battery easily.

Yup, the Vaporshark is indeed ~$30 less. I own both (both are DNA 20s 'cause I've had 'em for a while). I have a second XPV on order, but I'm content enough with just one Vaporshark for the time being.

The drawbacks to the VS for me are the 1200 mAh battery (which would not get me through an entire day away from power) and the fact that at roughly 19mm thick, it just doesn't look quite right with a full-sized (22-23mm) topper like a Kayfun on it. In addition, the switches simply don't have the "This is going to last forever" feel that the switches used in the XPV do.

Vaporshark is supposedly working on a big brother to the existing model which will presumably have room enough for an 18650 in it. To do that, they will need to grow the unit 3mm in width, 3mm in depth and 7mm in height. That will make its proportions just right for use with Kayfun (or similar topper). If they keep the price under $200, I think they'll sell a metric ton of them. I'll certainly buy one (because I can, and I like to try new stuff) but I doubt it will replace the XPV as the one mod I'd grab if I had to go someplace all day (or longer) and could only take one.

I'd be pretty confident if I were you. I'm order #429 and don't expect to get a shipping notice for at least another two weeks (going by the 30-35 business day lead time as of my payment date). Yesterday, I sent in my request to change my case and button colors. Hopefully, I made it in time; I don't expect a reply because I'm sure that announcement of theirs only succeeded in making them busier, LOL.

Yesterday, I sent in my request to change my case and button colors. Haha same boat here! Order 436 did a color change request and pretty stoked about getting a vtc5 in it. I haven't heard a reply from my request but I know they are busy. Man I can't wait to get this thing!

Your pricing was wrong, but they were very clear the original price was the introductory price and that it was going up once they launched their new site with the dna30.

They even have a blog post on it. Nothing sneaky at all.
