Got my kayfun Nano kit in today, pretty freeking sweet, and it can still hold about 3 ml.

3 ml is about what I vape in a day, and the 1200 mah battery seems to get me through a day on average as well if I need too.

Pretty sweet little all day stealth setup!

But I use my XPV as much as I use the little guy since im usually in vape friendly places, between the two of em I got 3 days pretty much.

The design of the atomizer has a few benefits :

- It is a bottom fed/wicking tank atomizer whose tank is under vacuum. This means that it is very resistant to leaking regardless of how it is carried or laid down. It also wicks very well making it suitable and easy to use with cotton.

-the atomizer chamber is designed to reduce and condense the vapor as much as possible before it gets to your mouth. This creates a warmer (hot) vapor that is very flavorful. It also allows you to get good results from higher ohm coils. It should be noted the airflow is a bit restrictive, making lung draws very difficult but is ideal for mouth draws. The kayfun also has a more pronounced throat hit than most other atomizers I have tried.

The kayfun and it's various clones are all very good and a clone can be picked up cheap(ish).

What he said, also something he left out, but you might not be aware of since your fairly new to them, the Kayfun is a completely rebuild-able atomizer/tank system, not something like a Protank that "can" be rebuilt, but wasn't really designed for it.

It is a great tank system, holds lots of liquid, no leaks, performs really well, and since it is one of the most popular rebuildable systems out there, there is lots of aftermarket parts you can get for them. Like the full clear tank, the nano kit, and some other drop kits and stuff.

My unit is a clone made by ToBeCo, it is really well made, and has an airflow control screw on the side, like a Russian 91%, which I like.

The Kayfun's work a little differently then most of the tanks out there, they are more like dripping because the coil is raised above a little like "well" area that juice is able to get into, and then your wick goes down into the juice well area and wicks up to the coil.

The Fogger is more like a Protank, in that the coil is on the same vertical plane as the juice channels, at the same height, and the wick goes horizontally through and out into the tank itself (or at least to the channels)

IMHO the thing I like most about the Kayfun is it's almost impossible to flood (it can be done, but you have to really be trying), what I like most about the Fogger is it is almost impossible to get dry hits while chain vaping (when set up right).

Regarding a vendor for them, I got mine on Amazon of all places lol, someone managed to sneak in 12 of them as a "fufilled by amazon" type of order, so I was able to get one overnighted with my Amazon Prime shipping lol!

That seller has since been removed from Amazon of course...

I payed $64 for mine at the time, since then I have seen them around as low as like $35- $40.

The EHPro Kayfun Lite clone, is also pretty good from what I have heard (I hae not used one), and I have seen them at more vendors, but does not have the adjustable air flow like the ToBeCo, which actually makes it more like the official KFL, which does not have adjustable air flow.


bncceo mentioned the kind of tight draw on the Kayfun, well with the ToBeCo clone, I just take the airflow adjuster screw all the way out, and it gives a nice smooth draw, similar to a protank.


Also note that I have a Kayfun Lite, not a Kayfun 3.1

They are almost identical, but the 3.1 is taller, little more capacity, and has airflow adjustment on all clones.

There is a new offical "Kayfun Lite Plus" (and clones) that have adjustable airflow on the BOTTOM, not on the SIDE, I have heard people prefer the SIDE airflow adjustment over the official BOTTOM KFL+

Notice that this vendor calls it a "Russian 91%" clone, which is more accurate because of the airflow control.

This is the exact same unit I got though, labeled as a Kayfun Lite Clone, before the Russian was really out and about.

BTW, obviously my XPV arrived and I'm just getting used to it. Heavier than what I've been using, but that's fine. So far so good.

Heheh, wait till you get a KFL, pretty sure it weighs more then the XPV when its in full stainless steel setup

Regarding quality, who knows I guess, but all the "ToBeCo" brand Kayfun clones I have seen have exceptional quality, buttery threads, and no problems. That is a ToBeCo, so I would assume it would be up to snuff.

But again, I personally would not order out of China, I would pay the extra $10 - $20 from a US vendor.

From what I have read, it is Tobeco pics, but the received product isn't Tobeco... Lots of folks complaining about the ones being sold on eBay as well... Pics are of one thing and the product was different than the pics... That is why I will never purchase directly from China or order on eBay...
