I have to say I find myself rarely using my Provari anymore. I don't think its because the XPV is a better vape. They are both great vapes. Part of it might just be the newness factor. But Wattage is just really nice. I wish provape would get with the times and make a VW version. But just wanted to throw it out there that the Protovapor has become my new all day device. The real test will be once my Hana V3 finally shows up. dna Vs. dna. I've never even held a box mod so it will really come down to whether I end up liking the feel of the Hana. Can't wait to get my first rebuildable so I can really see what the Protovapor can do.
I has the xpv. Any of you have the problem with the low profile 510 connector, It always loose . after it loose, it also break the red wire. I need to disassembly it a few time to make fire again. Any suggestion I can change the low profile 510 connector with better one, or How to make it can be more stable.Thanks
Mine is super super solid and tight... No problems here. Of course I don't rebuild on it with my toppers that have tight orings and need force... Don't want to put too much stress on it
Yay! Yay! Yay! After a brief scare with the postal workers at my local office I now has my XPV... All I have to say is wow. The fire switch is smooth as butter and intuitively placed... I like the clikyness (sp). The rocker switch is fantastic and smooth and easy to operate. I love the finish looks great and feels fantastic in the hand. It hits like a tank and the 510 connection has no issues with any of my attys so far.
I can't wait to put my kayfun on this lil mod when I get it tomorrow, the Russian isn't doing to bad on it.

So super cool when a company exceeds expectations... other than the website switchover, which could have gone a little more smoothly, however, I've seen MUCH, MUCH worse. Over on the VS thread they are complaining about a mfg. issue and the ship date keeps getting pushed back.
I love my XPV, and I too rock mine with a R91! 
I would submit a support ticket... there is enough epoxy on mine (backside of the 510) to sink a battle ship... no issues. yay! But I find what I like; the R91, and only take it off for a quick rewick/coil. It would be interesting to follow how ProtoVapor responds and I think it behoves them to respond in the most appropriate fashion as "Word of Mouth" can break them just as quickly as it built them up...
Anybody have any luck with RDA's on this thing... I get my coil setup, as soon as I get a good micro coil cooking it shuts down and says check atty... Tried from .8 micro coil all they way to 2.0... I think it's my RDA.
Its shorting out somewhere... Either your build or the Atty. I have a couple rdas in rotation without issue
You may have to adjust the center pin on your atomizer, I have found that the positive post in the XPV can sit a bit lower than in other mods, there are instructions in here to raise it on the xpv, but of course it will get pushed back down the next time you put a longer center pin atty on it... I would focus on the atty, I think your initial assessment is the correct one... You didn't say for sure but I'd be willing to bet that you have an atomizer that does work on the XPV? Yes? or it could be shorting as mentioned ↑ Does it perform on a different mod?

I think it's a bad atty, cheap trident clone... Sometimes does it on my mechs as well...won't fire after building it. I want to get a better RDA but I can't decide on wich one. I like the zeneith v2 but can't seem to track one down. The magma looks nice as well but I'd rather not spend that much on a RDA.

Can anyone give me an update on their order status. I ordered from the new site and was order #236 ordered on 2/20 black with dark gray button. They said about 7 days when ordered. Also did express shipping. Way to impatient it's my first dna mod.

hmm, I'm kinda upset. it was supposed to be here today (shipped Tuesday, 3 day delivery) but it isn't here. my tracking update still says it departed Honolulu, but there hasn't arrived at a sort facility yet, so I was hoping to was just an error, but I guess it wasn't
Also, I got an email from Protovapor saying a "note was added to my order" and that the "order was completed", but I can't find any sort of a "note" and it definitely isn't "completed" lol.

Mine ended up taking four days as well. I would guess some time tonight it will update to the closest sort facility to your house. Just got my Kayfun. Unfortunately my Kanthal won't be here till Monday so i'm stuck just looking at it for the weekend.
