I do so like that green... very nice, thanks for sharing.

YW...the pics don't even come close to capturing the metallic nature of the finish. Just as I was surprised by the finish on my metallic bronze ProVari, so too with my green XPV. Hopefully, I'll be able to a matte black AFC ring & drip-tip for my Zenith V2.

BTW, I took off the belt clip last night to see how I liked the mod without it. I'm pretty sure I'll be putting it back on cuz it's really nice to have the convenience of securing it to the pocket opening of my pants or breast pocket.

Yeah, that green one is pretty sweet looking. Was tempted to change mine to that color. I found the XPV while I was researching other DNA30 mods because of the frustration I was having trying to get a ZNA. I ordered it on March 13, and even though I knew I had a long wait in store, at least I knew It would eventually get here. I still wanted a ZNA though, and kept hitting the E stix site every time they got a batch of em without success....until last Monday night. I received it yesterday afternoon, and as I'm trying it out, the shipping notice comes across for my XPV! Been waiting all year for a dna, and now I get 2 in one week! It was none too soon though, the head on my VAMO is pushed down to the point now that it won' fire half my atties. I am order 463 by the way.

Thanks for letting us know the number. From 158 to go down to 134 in a couple days. Not bad.

I'm over trying to get a ZNA...went through the same frustration as you. Instead, and in addition to the XPV, I've ordered two DNA30 boards so I can make a couple of custom mods. :D

I've said this before: If the ZNA's "backpack" was 18650-sized and Zen used the extra space in there for a built-in micro USB charger like the XPV has, then it would be damn near the perfect mod -- because it would be the only DNA mod that had both a built-in charger and the ability to quick-change batteries without tools.

Right now the Hana comes closest to that capability, but it sufferers from excessive bulk, and you still need a screw driver to open it up if you want to swap out the battery.

That's one thing I think will be great about having both. They are about as different as DNA 30 mods can be. I was worried about the ZNA cause a lot of people are complaining about it and it's new top cap. By adjusting the center pin all the way down I can get my kayfun within about a mm or slightly less, which is fine with me. The only minor nit pick I would have so far is that man, this thing really is heavy. At least twice as heavy as any other mod I own. I'm glad everyone says the XPV is very light! I think it would be so cool to make your own DNA mod. Wish I had the patience and skill to do it myself.

That sounds about right, I've been slowly gathering parts to do a custom build, my idea of awesome is to have removable batt. by sliding off a door held on by earth magnets (wooden box)... anyways now that I have XPV and experience the performance I will def. build another with DNA 30.

Btw, is Evolv's website still the only place to get the Chip? as far as in-stock is concerned?

Yeah, it does suck. Luckily I have a couple spares.
I was going to let you guys know that I wanted to move one of them but I will put that plan on hold.
I am ready to order one of the new colors. I just cannot decide on color. Leaning toward the green/black with red/grey running a close second.

Did you do any kind of damage assessment -- i.e. look at why she's "out for the count"?

I am not going to open it up. I would rather pay the $12 for the to and from shipping to have protovapor do it.
I run a pretty small topper and it appears to have hit on it and pushed the 510 lopsided. The screen was stuck on full display for a couple of hours and then went blank. It won't come back on. It appear to be charging correctly but the display still won't appear.

That is not far from me. Maybe if the seller will meet for inspection I would pick that up. Nice deal!

Seems HIGHLY suspect, to me. Who in their right mind would sell an XPV 30D for that figure? It's illogical. I mean, on eBay these mods are selling for an average of $250-275, pre-owned...

I just sent the seller a text message asking if it was still available.
It does seem to be a "too good to be true" deal but it may just be a good deal.
