With customer service like that, I'm glad I chose them. Great price, great cs, and I guess I'll soon find out if it's a great product. (I'm sure it is) :)

It is my only gripe is that the 510 connector is sub par. Make sure you only use atomizers with a flush connector. I also heard that a lot of box mods have this issue with the 510 connector and it is easily user fixable with the xpv.

Speaking of the 510 conn. I replaced my top cap today, (510 was spinning due to bad solder joint). I found it pretty difficult to do, with the proximity of the splice in the wires needing to be within 1 inch of the dna board, and then to tuck the new joints in while reassembling the pocket clip, top cap, and screws. I had to put some really tight bends in the wire, more than I wanted for it to fit back in.
However I managed, and it works.. woulda helped if my soldering iron wasn't from the stone ages too:facepalm:

On another note. It may be my imagination but the XPV I picked up a couple of weeks ago with the DNA30 in it seems to drain its charge quicker than my 20's.
What batteries do your 20s have in 'em? Most of 'em have the totally awesome Panasonic NCR18650PF with 2900 mAh of goodness. If your 30 is an early example, it likely has the a Sony VTC4, which only has 2100 mAh of capacity.

That's why the second XPV I ordered back in the 3rd week of March (and which should be getting close to the top of the production queue) is a 20, not a 30; I want the battery capacity I'm used to more than I want the extra 10 watts.

Yeah, my 20's have the 2900 Panasonic's in them. They are nail drivers.
The 30 was purchased in the first week of March. Not sure what battery is in it. I honestly didn't know there was a different battery for the 30's. Am sure I read it but it must have slipped my mind until you said it again since I wasn't planning on buying a 30.
It is a noticeable difference.

Is it really easy to replace the batteries?
No, I wouldn't call it "really easy". The battery has a plug harness soldered to it, and it secured with some tape as well. It's really only intended to be swapped out for a new one when it won't hold a charge well anymore.

This is the price you pay for efficient packaging. Compare to say a Hana (the full-sized one) where the battery IS easy to change, but that convenience comes at the cost of something like 60% more bulk.

Report that ....!

My pic has been removed from that listing.
I know that when you put a pic up on the web it is out there for the taking, but I don't want my.pic associated with a listing that is asking for 50% markup ( starting bid) and 125% markup ( buy it now ).

F THAT!

That markup is regular practice. It's generally not that high for a full sized 30 on eBay, but it's nothing at all new in the mod world, for something considered "rare" (which essentially, the Protovapor mods are) you think it's an outrageously high price, but you watch, somebody will at least pay the starting bid on it, if not, even more. Mod flipping is a high profit business, that's for sure. I think it's actually really nice to know that people are willing to pay so much for these mods, in exchange for not waiting out the long lead time...I think it probably helps keep the value of the XPV's up in the same league with the other DNA 30D mods, where they rightfully belong. There are LOTS of folks willing to pay a lot extra, just to avoid the wait... To those people, it's a fair exchange. After thinking about these kinds of deals for about a month now.. I'll be honest, If I was rich, and money was no object, and I really wanted a mod like this, and knew that if I could pay extra to be moved to the front of the line... I would probably just pay the extra. I dunno about the buy it now price... that seems over the top. But I would pay extra... IF MONEY DIDN'T MATTER...lol

I do find myself doubting anyone wo lists such a device on eBay, and DOESN'T provide several images of the actual item... In this case, I wouldn't bid on that mod if I was rich, simply because of the lack of images of the item. But if the listing included several images of the actual mod, so I could verify the state of it's condition.... sure...

I've been really satisfied with my XPV. It's so nice and light, easy to grip, and has such a good firing button. I also like the rotary button to change the wattage. I went by a B&M the other day, and was showing off my ZNA and XPV, and was, surprised everyone seemed more interested in my all black XPV with the black Kayfun on top than the ZNA. I don't think any of you will be disappointed.

After using both the XPV & ZNA for a month or so, I sold the ZNA.
The much longer battery life, considerably lighter weight & versitility of usb charging renders the XPV the superior device IMO.
