I simply added my extra black spacer under the bottom plate, to balance out the look of the XPV a bit more. Loving this new connector. really great quality, and works excellent! I have also removed the top plate, to get a look at the other end of the connector, and it is indeed, just held onto the top plate with a nut. custom top and bottom plates? sure, I think carbon fiber will be a neat looking customization, and reasonably priced to make, as well! :vapor:

Cool. Glad you got it. Didn't think about putting the extra plate on the bottom. But I think I'm ok as is for the moment.

reading this thread has convinced me of one thing- while vapors are a LOT better off than smokers health-wise they are in increased danger from blowing a gasket or two and having a stroke. look, i get that anyone who has ordered anything wants to receive it as quickly as possible but people need to relax- it arrives when it arrives. constantly obsessing over delivery info can't be good for your health or piece of mind. constant rants against the post office is counter-productive and flies in the face of actual facts. c'mon chill out-when you get your devices you can tell everyone how great it is- until then relax. my grandfather always used to tell me "no one wants to hear about the labor pains they just want to see the baby". hearing all this delivery angst gets old in a hurry......

I understand and agree, but this "delivery anticipation syndrome" is just a symptom of our instant gratification, everything's disposable society.

well, not everyone suffers from the disease and there are cures available. my main point- not everyone wants to hear about your disease. you should have your own area so you can commiserate among yourselves and not inflict everyone else...why should every thread turn into a "what's your #-when was it shipped? whats the tracking say?" i mean ,c'mon really?

Are they going to make a 30watt version of the mini?
Can they find an 18350 battery capable of the 12 amps that a DNA 30 can pull; including some safety margin? If I were designing a mod, particularly one with a pre-installed battery that I was selling and therefore had some degree of liability for, I'd want a battery with with a substantial safety margin; 16-18 amps minimum. I'm not aware of such a battery in the form-factor required at the present time.

Poly-litho.. there are several that have 40amp+ continuous ratings.

Sounds like this thread makes you uncomfy , perhaps you could find a thread that caters to people with anger issues

The efest 18350 has a 15A pulse which would be more than enough with a lowered cut off on the fire button,Efest IMR 18350 700mah 10.5amp Flat Top Battery .
But still,in a small DNA30 form factor,i would not use it.

I know this is like saying you don't need to wear a seat belt if you drive less than 25 mph, but I'd be surprised if the majority of XPV owners (and DNA30 owners overall) vape at 30 watts all the time.

As a manufacturer, I would NOT sell a DNA30 in 18350 configuration; but look at the ZNA. In native form, both the ZNA and ZNA "lite" are 18490 boxes, and most (if not all) 18490 batteries don't meet the 16-18 amp safety margin you speak of.

Hey, hey... first off, attack the post, not the poster.

Second, be more creative... and do as I say not as I do, I suppose. :)

No, I get it. I'm not chastising or complaining, but I do think that discussions of lead times, performance, and problems are within the scope of this thread's intent, the "how come I didn't get mine yet" discussions fall outside the scope.

Of course, I could be wrong. I'm wrong all the time, and it doesn't bother me anymore. And I have a lifetime of bad decisions to prove it. :p
