I freaking LOVE my XPV 30D!!!!!!!! Higher resistance 2 ohm builds have been what I have arrived at, at moderate wattages and higher voltages give me everything I could need! So long sub ohming for a decent vape, you're too much extra responsibility! I no longer need you! Now I'm in love with higher resistance coils and higher voltage/lower wattages! AWESOME vape experience, and FAR longer cell discharge length, over the course of my day! Ok, so maybe having the ability to go up to a little higher wattages on the DNA 30, as opposed to the bit lower DNA 20 wattages, is unnecessary for a great regulated mod, but if I ever wanted to drain my cell quick on a mid level sub ohm build, on occasion, I still can, within reason.
For me, sub ohming is just about obsolete..... I only occasionally use a mech now, with a basic origin dripper with sub ohm coils, when I get nostalgic, or feel bad for neglecting my Paps Lux 2.5.... speaking of my Lux 2.5... I may now be in the market to sell her... I really see no valid purpose in keeping it, other than as a collectable... hmm... keep it, and look at it collect dust? or sell it, and use the money to buy the new Squape R?
A little advice for those who've not ordered an XPV, or have no experience with higher voltage vaping.... Get a higher voltage regulated mod (I suggest at least a 6v on up, capable. Higher voltage means lower wattage needed, using higher resistances, giving much extended discharge time, and a lot more vapor-per-charge) even if you can't afford an XPV. You'll thank me later for investing in higher voltage kit..... But, I STRONGLY suggest you save up for an XPV 20 or 30, and be done with your search to satisfy the cravings....
LOVE THE XPV!!!!! best bit of vaping kit, I've had since I began vaping two years ago, hands down!
