Hmmm. Do you know when the change was made to the 3rd one? Did all the P3's shipped with Ver. 38 have the newer springs? I'm betting they did as the spare's I have recently ordered are the same size (seem to be) as the one that came with my P3 received 16Jun15

This forum or any forum by it's very nature is a group of people sharing.

It is not a library, nor is it the ask the expert area of this forum.

If a question is asked, it generally gets answered.

This thread would need to be locked to be a viable data bank.

But why do any of this?

Ask, and your questions will be answered!!!

So instead of being respectful of HB's wishes and intent, Y'all just decide to keep dropping turds in the punch bowl:nah:

I can tell you how to find out. Write down the present value of the counter so you don't forget it and can keep going after you do this to reenter what you had. You can manually set the counter so see how high it goes before resetting to zero. Be careful, as you hold down the button, it gets pretty speedy. If you do this, please report back with your findings.

If memory serves I believe the puff counter goes up to 1,000,000 then starts over. And yes, it can reset anytime someone wants to reset it. What it won't do however is (at least I'm pretty sure it won't) go down. It goes up very fast however if you hold your finger on the button as you adjust it.

I got this one :headbang:

The P3 comes with a silicone O-ring but can be replaced with Buna. ProVape chose silicone because they thought red looked better. True story.

In fact, the following link for replacements was provided to Yours Truly by ProVape Customer Service:

004 Buna-N O-Ring, 70A Durometer, Black, 5/64" ID, 13/64" OD, 1/16" Width (Pack of 100): O Ring Seals: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

I even have a pic of mine:

And where do these little fellas go on a P3. Seriously. I don't recall seeing an o-ring on my P3's.

Take your atty off your P3 and look at the pin. There's a red o-ring around it at the base. That's where they go, if you ever wear one out to begin with.

Here you go:

Thx. So ordering 100 o-rings for 2 P3's might last a while? ;)

That many would likely last you generations and generations to come. As you can see from the condition of the o-ring in my P3, it's not in any way wearing it out. And I've had my P3 since the first week they were launched.

I think it sad that some people have to made fun of a thread that was meant to help by post useless and Childish to poke fun on what could be a great thread for new users.

Ever hear the saying ... there are no stupid questions ... and who determines these are not important questions for those wanting to expand their ProVari knowledge.

This thread was started because someone didn't think it was fitting for everyone to be wishing others a good morning in official ProVape threads ... they felt that kind of camaraderie belonged in other threads.

This thread was opened right after that person complained about all the ProVarinati well wishers.

Another question ... what is the size of the screws holding the window in place on the 2.5?

About as long as my sack of 100 count Ko Gen Do pads. Been using them two years and doesn't look like I even opened the package yet.

EDIT: Oops, I made a funny. Off topic. I'll send myself to the penalty box..

This thread was opened right after that person complained about all the ProVarinati well wishers.
For the record, this thread was NOT started in response to the "Good morning" issues a member had.
This thread was started as a response to the bashing another member received, when he mentioned that newer folks (to forum or brand) may not want to/be able to read through miles and miles of pointless banter, and may want just information.
This member expressed that not everyone is on the ECF for social reasons, and stated a place for strictly Q&A might be helpful.
It was, and is, the intent of the same people who bashed that person, to see this thread torn down, not realizing it would keep the info-seekers out of their precious social threads.
Sure, all it takes is a person to ask a question, to get an answer. But not every person who walks through the door of the ECF wants to socialize. Not every person feels comfortable asking a question of a very publicly tight-knit group, having an ongoing conversation about other random topics.
Some people want a straight-forward thread, where they can ask, be answered, and read the questions/answers of others...without having to suffer the insults and banter of others who prefer different social interactions.
You'd think, if they had their own place, those who judge them would leave them alone, and not continue to run them off, as has happened in this thread.
Some people, being more information-driven than others, had requested an index or blog, to better organize questions asked and answered here.
Not having the resources or Internet/forum savvy to create such a thing, I reached out to a group of people I assumed would be helpful.
These people chose to interpret that request as me having a "holier than thou" attitude, and were too foolish to see it as the simple request it was. That is not my fault.

It's even more sad, that those individuals were so obtuse, they couldn't realize this thread would help to filter out the info-seekers that annoyed them.
In closing, I can say it has been a great disappointment to see several individuals do their best to purposely devolve a thread that was created to help others, in a different way.

Have at it, savages. Attack the unknown with rocks, and kill anything different with fire.
Your ignorance leaves you beyond salvation's reach.

My original Beta had the smaller 2.5 spring. When an improvement was announced I bought the bigger better spring. Then later, I purchase a Ti P3...
And the spring was even bigger.

Or it was just happy to see me?!?

Mismanagement by HB caused an equally stupid response from me.

I won't bow down and spoon feed anyone.

My Bad. It was not meant in response to anyone in particular, but was actually copied from an HB post in this thread previously. It was meant as humor, but clearly wasn't perceived that way. So to anyone who thought I was being critical, my apologies.
