My Bad. It was not meant in response to anyone in particular, but was actually copied from an HB post in this thread previously. It was meant as humor, but clearly wasn't perceived that way. So to anyone who thought I was being critical, my apologies.
Twas not your much appreciated humor that offended me...

Back to questions....

What is the big deal with the P3 connector? It seems I would be limiting myself by going with a P3 tank like a Kabuki or Kayfun. First, they are expensive and also, they won't work on my other mods without some kind of adapter.

I have 5 (soon to be 7) Provaris, and I see no reason to use anything other than 510 tanks such as Subtanks, Crowns, Nautilus, Super Tank Minis, etc.

Educate me. :)

Thx!

They have a larger area for electrical passage.

They have larger threads for strength.

They have a kewl adapter that allows you to use it on any 510 device.

Thx.

Any difference in performance if using the same tank on the same ProVape mod with and without the 510 adapter (so comparing P3 and 510 connections)?

I received my P3 to 510 adapter the other day.

I boiled it clean this morning and mounted it on the ProVape P3 Beta.

Vaped it all day, No difference that I could discern.

It ships with the circled part installed. Both the Radius and the P3 do.

It's also arguably one of the best 510 connectors in the industry as well. So P3 connection and 510 connection from the factory.

You don't need to use Zens adapter or anything. It's shipped in 510 mode anyway.

Open box with p3 in it and screw any 510 atty to it immediately.

Boy, this can get confusing. Zen's adapter is for ATTYs with P3 threading, so the Atty can be used with any 510 device. It goes on the atty, not the mod.

The Radii and P3 have P3 threading and P3 to 510 adapter, installed. The picture above shows it with the adapter removed, and the parts sitting next to the mod.

Here's the adapter:

Thanks.

I will look at a Kabuki next time I drop by my local B&M as they always seem to have them in stock. Not sure if I can justify the $$$ difference though... $70US for the Kabuki vs. $15-16US for a Nautilus. Is it worth the huge price difference?

Be an interesting to compares he two as I have literally beat the crap out of a Nautilus and a pair of Nautilus Minis for the last 3 months and they still perform perfectly.

Trust me when I tell you that if you pop for a Kabuki, you'll prolly NEVER EVER buy another Nautilus atty again. At least I know I won't. And I now have 3 Kabuki.

Ok, fine.:p I will check one out this weekend.

So the standard Aspire Nautiluc coils work in the Kabuki? What about a RBA?

HB, apologies if too much Kabuki talk.

I have been wondering the same thing since I bought my Kabuki in October...

In my current vape rotation, all loaded with the same juice for months now...

P3 Nautilus

Nautilus Mini

P3 Kabuki

Aspire K1 Glassomizer BVC

Aspire Mini Nova BVC

The Kabuki Edges Them All Out, Just Barely, But still (IMO) Better. It is also the only one in the list that I truly trust the Metal content.

Hope that helps, Jim

Jim,

Here's another dumb question.... what's a P3 Nautilus and where can I get one?

They were a P3 Connector Nautilus Tank made by Aspire for ProVape.

Only sold thru ProVape initially. They are no longer produced.

So, Short Answer... The Unicorn that has been slain by the Kabuki!!!

Yes, the Aspire Nautilus coils work in the Kabuki.

I'm not sure what you're asking about a RBA?

Jim,

Nautilus did make and Provape even sold the P3 Nautilus. I could be wrong, but I don't they make them anymore.

I'm not sure what you're asking about a RBA?.
It seems many folks are using tanks such as Kayfuns that have rebuildable options and I was hoping the Kabuki had a RBA deck of some kind. There is a 3rd party RBA that will work in a Nautilus (so likely a Kabuki), but it is apparently a P.I.T.A. to build on.

I prefer tanks with a RBA option like Kanger, but not a deal breaker as Nautilus coils are cheap and available pretty much everywhere.

I see. No, the Kabuki does not and I believe Zen has absolutely no intention of making one with RBA. His reason for creating the Kabuki in the first place was to make a system that rivaled the best systems out there, but offered utter simplicity to use. He accomplished his goal admirably. For me, the Kabuki takes plug and play to a whole new level.

Thx. So ordering 100 o-rings for 2 P3's might last a while? ;)

Careful: o rings can deteriorate over time.

Having a massive supply of something that isn't going to be a problem to obtain in the future may be a false economy.

The one on the left is a P3 Nautilus, the one on the left is the 510 Nautilus. Besides connections, the other difference between the two is the cage design matches the shape of the P3 logo.

The one on your other left is a 510...
