Do you have any good friends who live in the US, who may travel to your neck of the woods?
I am in Nashville next week, but I have so much stuff already waiting for me at my hotel that another shipment would be idiotic.

Good point though.... I will ask ProVape to slap a couple of tubes of lube in my package (good god that sounds so wrong) with my replacement Radius.

Question for Classic users.....

Anyone having an issue with their battery gauge showing full until the battery is almost empty?

Here we go again.... I had the same issue with my Radius.

I am hoping that it is just a 18350 thing and will watch it with 18500 and 18650 batteries as well.

In any case, vaped it all day, noticed the battery meter didn't move, removed and reinstalled the battery and off go the battery warning lights with the gauge showing only one bar.

I have no problems with my P3's but this is starting to drive me crazy!

Any thoughts? Is there a Classic update I might have missed?

Thx!
So I tried 18500 and 18650 batteries in my Classic and it is still doing the exact same thing that my Radius did. Battery shows full, drops one bar and eventually drops right to empty and the button flashes.

Can anyone honestly say that this is only due to not lubing the threads on a brand new Provari (6 weeks old)? If so, that is nuts.

In any case, I will get some No-Ox ordered and try that as a last resort. I couldn't really be bothered returning another Provari from Canada to Washington State. Arrggghh.

At least my 2.5 and P3's are working perfectly.

I don't think this is from lack of lube. I don't. But I do want you to stretch out the spring in Classic. I mean S T R E T C H it out. Try again and see if there's any difference.

Thx. Fully charged battery in the Classic and the spring is so stretched that it may take out an eye next time I remove the end cap. ;)

It will be harder to take off too. Push the endcap into the mod while you turn to loosen it.

Well, at least you have plenty of back-ups you can count on if you have to send it in!

I'm sorry, I know it still sucks...

I did the Radius v20 update, I suggest those that haven't do so.
I was happy with the battery life before, now it is improved, cant ask for anything better than that.
Before updating mine occasionally seemed like the battery gauge hung up / stuck higher than actual / didn't display battery life accurately.
That small issue appears to be fixed.

The only strange thing Ive noticed is with the new feature of button lights illuminating while charging.
Lightening bolt icon.
I have a selection of "off" or "B off", 'off ' turns the feature off of course but my other selection is B off.
Seems like it should say B on?
Is this something I have yet to figure out or a glitch in the download or?
Anyone else with v20 experience this or have a suggestion?

Somethings not right then. I decided to leave the light off, and my button definitely does not light up while charging.

I had to edit my post, I made a mistake in my discription.
The feature works, but my selections are ' off ' or ' B off '.
No On.
Ah, B-off means blue light while charging off when finished.

Yup! That is true. I bought #8 today in fact.:D

I am going to try what the kind folks at ProVape sent me today when I mentioned my Classic issue while discussing a Radius Stealth. Hope they don't mind me posting this.... Not sure if SR wrote this or borrowed some or vice versa, but it is good info...

The spring stretching is a good thing to try. You can also try giving it a good cleaning. Here's a complete list of contacts (including the stretching of the spring) to try:

1. The end cap and tube threads. Wet a q-tip with some isopropyl alcohol and run that around the threading of your ProVari and the threading of your end cap. Dry it off and, if you have some No-ox, apply a couple small dabs on the end cap threads. I usually use an old toothbrush as well to really clean the threads inside and out...it works great!

2. Battery contact pin. Scrub the battery contact with a q-tip wet with isopropyl alcohol for a good 25 seconds to make sure it's nice and shiny. Don't be afraid to use a little pressure. The carbon build up from the battery arcing when it comes into contact with the pin can be stubborn to remove. Make sure to clean the tops and bottoms of your batteries as well. This video is also very helpful in explaining how to clean the contacts:

3. The brass contact pin. To clean the brass contact pin in the top cap, dip a q-tip in some isopropyl alcohol and scrub the 510 well until the brass pin is nice and clean again. You can then use a dry q-tip to soak up any excess alcohol.

4. The endcap spring. This isn't so much a cleaning step, but a compressed spring can cause connection issues. Pull up on lightly on the spring in the end cap to stretch it out a bit, maybe an eighth of an inch or more. Make sure and hold the bottom of the spring so it doesn't pop out of the end cap. They're a pain to get back in. This will help secure the battery into place and provide a more solid connection.

I have a question - actually a few. What does "Free Upgrade" mean in the image below?

2cyji2f.png

Specifically - does it mean the flat P3 top cap? Is it the firmware? Both?

Does the 2.5/Mini have Boost/Hot Shot?

Thank you!

The LED Options of a color other than red used to cost extra...
