What is a Provape-1? And I see Provape-1 is a 3.7v screwdriver-like mod. You can use LR attys on that but guess what - they are HOT!! And the lower the ohms the hotter. I actually do not think that is a good thing for new vapers. What are the ohms of the atomizer? It should say where you bought it.

And what nic and PG/VG is the juice? medium or high nic in 100% PG can also burn and irritate the tongue, throat and even lungs.

2.0-2.2 ohms is hot atty on a 3.4v Ego, even hotter on a real 3.7v device like you have. You need a cooler atomizer. Something in the high 2's or even 3.0.

You can add some VG to your eliquid to make the vapor smoother but other than that you need a new atty. I think a standard resistance atomizer is much better for a new vaper.

Check VaporSearchUSA.com to see if there are any shops near you that might sell standard resistance 510 attys.

For vegetable glycerin - Walmart Humco brand (near the rubbing alcohol) or Wilton brand in Michael's Crafts near the cake decorating stuff. That would make the vapor less irritating. Even 10% would help. ANd see if a drugstore will sell you a dropper bottle you could mix your juice in.

yes - 2-8-3.0 Boge cartos are very very nice. And I recommend thin (30%vg or less) light-colored juices for the longest performance/reuse out of a Boge carto. I think 80pg/20vg is even better.

Unflavored tastes a bit sweet - I think VG is sweeter. Unflavored with nicotine may taste like nicotine - sometimes nicotine has a flavor/smell.

Thanks for the advice. I read up on the Boge cartos and they seem great, but I would like to order from the provape website again because their customer service has been great so far. What do you think about these atties: Joye510 Atomizer for Electronic Cigaratte. and these cartos: 510 Cartomizer

Will these be ok or should I go somewhere else and get the Boges? Also, my ProVape came with a 510 adapter that fits the 510 atties. Will it also fit the 510 cartos?

Quick unrelated question: How does unflavored e juice taste?

Unflavoured :)

If it is VG it can have a slight sweetness to it, more so than PG. My wife for example can't taste the flavours anyway (which I just don't get), so for her it reallly doesn't matter whether the juice is flavoured or unflavoured. It really I guess comes down to personal preference.

Cheers

Richard
