...aight, so - last week I had a customer (whom was hardware rich but cash strapped for liquid) offer me a Provari 2.5, with the 18650 extension cap, in trade for some liquid. I intended to PIF it, or use it for a contest, or something. I have a Provari myself and, honestly, I barely touch the thing... so, it would suffice to say, this thing needs a new home.
Here's the quandary... it's the "black" one and it's been riding in a pocket for quite some time. I'd stop short of saying it looks "abused" - let say it's well loved.
Would it be laim to use this for a contest? I mean, it's used... but, HELLO, it's a Provari!
Is anyone aware of anyone we could trust to paint and refinish this thing? I'd put some coin into refinishing it and painting it up nice for our upcoming anniversary and give it to the NT family. I'm thinking something durable, kinda like the paint you would get on a semi-truck... ya know?
I guess I'd like to find an cost effective way to put some polish on this mod, and then find an equitable way to give it away. Other thoughts, suggestions?
