First off, sorry if this has been posted before. Kind of hard to find thru all the information on here lol.

Anyway, to the point!
I recently ordered a Provari (yay!) and i thought the last battery i had bought was a AW IMR, but its actually an AW IC. I know your told to use high drain batteries but, i was wondering if this kind of battery is just as good as an IMR or if ill need to order new ones ? This new battery was expensive to, gonna suck if i cant use it. :(

Thanks in advance for any help!

NOTE: These are from altsmoke, there black 18650's with 3100mah. Link

I don't own a provari, but I do have other mods that recommend imr batteries so this may apply here as well.
IC (protected) batteries tend to be a little longer than their imr counter parts due to the small circuit board built into the end, so some mods that are around imr size specs may not have room for a protected battery.
But as I said before this is from my experience with other mods, not with a provari.

What I see in the link is a 3-dimple positive post instead of the button top positive post that the ProVari needs to connect correctly. If that is true, then you will need to get a button top type.

The current draw spec for that battery was good enough to run a ProVari, but I've had the best life from the IMR's as compared to the IC's.
