AFAIK, painting or plating your Provari will void the warranty. I was going to get my end caps copper/brass plated and possibly the tube patina'd to a steampunk style until I heard about this.

Meh, I've been building gaming computers, and tinkering with most of my electronics to the point that the warranties barely last longer than the unboxing.
Or, there's this. Skins. Theirs or your own custom. I'm thinking about it. Just talked to them. The skins are a 3M product you can put on and take off as much as you like without damaging the original finish. (Like sticky notes, I guess.)
I would think the skin wouldn't conform to Provari's ridges (or teardrops on the Mini), but maybe it would. It's thin vinyl. I'm kinda stoked about designing my own custom skin.
I strongly suggest reading the entire thread before sending anything to this guy.
From the looks of it, several ECF members have been awaiting the return of their expensive mods for months, there's been no updates, and the dude gets angry when you ask for one.

Ya, at this point I would have to agree. He seemed like a nice enough fellow. I'd like to think he bit off a bit more than he could chew. I'd definitely recommend reading a bit more on his thread before shipping. At the very least there's going to be a wait with not a lot of communication. His work does look great though! Good call man.
