Provari displaying E8 very often

I have a Provari I purchased from a great member here on the forum. After about a year it started displaying the E8 error code. I have tried several different carts and it will work for a few puffs and then it will stop working and display the E8 code again. Can somebody help me? I live outside of the US, so sending it back to provape is kind of a hassle, but if I have to I guess I will.
Thanks a lot for any help and for taking the time.

The warranty from Provape is transferable, from the frequently asked questions on their site. If you can get in touch with the member and it's still covered, the order number gets service. Maybe there was a second year extended warranty that's still in effect. If it's a V1, they will wupgrade it for $20 to V2, also. I think the electronics get a wholesale replacement in the upgrade.

Have you taken the battery out and cleaned the center contact inside the Provari with a Q-tip and alcohol? Mine got strange the first week and cleaning the battery connections and the inside contacts fixed it. There was a dark spot on the positive contact. Intermittent power loss can drive electronics nuts sometimes.

Thank you all for your answers! I am using Bogue 3.0 carts and usually vaping at 4.8 volts. I am located in El Salvador CA so contacting the seller is kind of a hard task. I very much doubt that it has an extended warranty. I will try to contact provape to see what I can do. Thank you Dave P for the advise it is sure usefull!!! Bishopheals do you have any other thoughts?

I just want to inform you that you can contact ProVari if bought their product from their site first hand. Cecilia has been very patient with me solving every problems and questions I throw at her even Saturdays and Sundays. Great company beyond excellent standards of support. Give them a try.
Self help:
Use 97 or 99% alcohol aka isopropyl and long cotton swap perfered. ( I had to hit med supply in US, yours may vary) Clean the connector on the 510 used to connect your atty/carto. Second contact pin to clean in inside where your battery contacts. (this can be hard so long swap comes in handy here) ProVape will tell you this first too and I can second that is true. When your juice gets on the contact it throws random error. The machine is tougher than ProVape is willing to give credit for, so many accidental drops and the chip/unit still vapes fine.
Note: Every once in a while you came across tough gunk that just will not go away. Im still sorting that myself. ProVape also state if its that bad you can give it full bath in alcohol then let it fully dry before use. (I have not personally given this test yet. I trust ProVape though)
