I am probably going to get a silver provari even though I want black.
my only worry is that after much use the black paint will start to chip.
i only feel this way cause of other ecigs I've had did the same.
should I go with black with no worries of paint chipping?
is provari of a higher quality even the paint job?

The coating used on the colored Provari's is carocotte (spelling), the same durable coating applied to firearms. It is extremely durable, probably more so than powder coat paint. I bought my satin blue Provari when the new colors were first introduced in August. I have a bad habit of resting my Provari on my lap while driving, and more times than I wish to admit I have forgotten about it when stepping out of my car. The Provari has hit the parking lot asphault several times, with nary a scratch or nick.

To give you an added sense of security against scratches or nicks, SerenityGear Leather makes high quality leather sleeves, holsters, and lanyards for the Provari and other popular mods.

Hopes that eases any apprehension that you may have. You are going to love the Provari.

this only happens if you keep playing with cheap junk or want to start a collection of top end stuff. if you can find what works and be happy suddenly the spending stops.

im bad in that i keep buying geni type atty's to try, dont know why but i gotta try them all. even though i keep going back to my cobra. then i have to sell the other ones to buy more.

Its a ceramic coating...does hold up very well...I owned 2 Provaris + 1 mini-all Black satin... I babied them,,,always carried them in a SuperT felt bag when leaving the house..never droped them either...but over time they all developed a small scratch or 2...since they were Black it showed thru.. Sold them all....now own a Provari Satin Silver V2.5... Love it and will no longer order the colored Provaris...JMO
