So.. I was lucky enough to find a z-atty pro in the classified section 2 days ago and i purchased it.. My primary PV WAS a black ProVari V2 with the blue LED and extention cap using AW IMR 18650 batteries.

So considering this z-atty pro I purchased was satin stainless with a cobalt blue tank.. So I put my ProVari up for trade in the
classifieds section thinking I would trade it for a silver one and now luckily I didnt do it..

I believe this could only be created FROM the black one as you can leave little bits and hits of black in it to complete the look..
I also left all the black in the slots in the tube and the dots in the cap it looks AMAZING in person.

A little sand paper a dremel with a few different buffing wheels some buffing compound and about 2 hours of time and I created this..

Im waiting on the z-atty pro to come in to do the final buffing and polishing to match it with the z-atty this is a work in progress im pretty confident with some buffing compound and a few different roughness buffing wheels ill be able to match it to the zenessis atty.. BUT if you were looking for a gunmetal effect this worked perfect

The ProVari Gunmetal Edition
Let me know what you think
I will post another pic of it when the Z-Atty Pro comes in to finish the look

I know some will say why dont you just buy a matte stainless one.. but it doesnt have the "Character" of sanding the black off yourself.. and leaving the black in the tube and the dots on the cap ads tons to the look.. its the flaws in my opinion from the process that makes it have that real "Gun Metal" look..

I like it, looks cool, esp with the recessed areas still black. I wonder if this could be done with the teardrop pattern on a black provari mini? I am looking at mine now imagining it, but I would never do that to mine! Would it even work? With the type of finish on the satin black mini? If it would, I think the black teardrops would be sweet!
