So I live in a small town with one vape shop, and I have only met a small number of people who vape. The shop owner doesn't seem to know much and doesn't sell anything other then a few mech's, innokin and joytec products. So I have a few ego twists an MVP and a 134 mini as well as a mech. I have several different tanks iclear 30s, protanks, a trident clone and an aqua clone. Figured I had the stuff that made vaping about as good as it gets. Been analog free for about 3 1/2 months now. I have been enjoying it and so glad I quit smoking, but I was left wanting a little more. The vapor wasn't quite thick enough and the flavor was ok but I wanted more. I tried ordering some juice with extra flavor shots but then they just tasted wrong, too artificial. The local shop has a red apple that I love but it seemed a little thin, I have tried juices from a lot of different shops when I travel, but am unable to find one I like for more then a day or two.

Well today I had to run to Albuquerque, and figured I would run by high desert vapes. Nice place the people their are really friendly and seemed to know a lot more then my local guy. Anyway they had some provari's at a fair price. $200 for a mini or the full size, though that was kinda weird but no big deal I wanted the full size and they have to make money so I figured that was a fair price. I picked up a black and Redon with the extension piece to run the 18650, a couple of batteries and an new charger, as well as some juice. I spent almost $300. I now have a regret..... I wasted way to much money on other products. The provari is in a class all it's own. I have read that the 134 uses a cheaper chip that pulses to get to the watts you want and makes for a less smooth vape. I never noticed it but did hear the rattle when I would fire it. The provari is so much smoother, I didn't even realize how bad the 134 was. Also on the way to Abq. I went through 2 batts in the 134. The lady at high desert said the aw batts come 70% charged so I threw one in and gave it a shot! my first impression was wow I have been missing a lot. I vapes the provari all the way home on the same battery, wow.... I am so happy with my new purchase. Like I said my only regret is not getting one sooner. I know not everyone can afford 2-3 bills to start vaping but I wish I had just started with one and not wasted all the money on other products.

Thanks to all the good people on e-cigarette forums for posting their experience with the provari, it convinced me to give one a shot and I'm so glad I did.

They are fantastic devices. I loved mine for 7 months, then discovered the Reo and sold it. But yes, the Provari is absolutely in a class of it's own despite being a little behind the times. Smooth vape, accurate adjustments, super quality machining, and a warranty to back you up. What more could you ask for?

I get the same advantages from my Reo as the Provari being that I can replace every single component in it myself because there isn't much going on in there. Two devices that stand out from the crowd by far.

Enjoy!

I would buy a DNA 30.device if they incorporated true downregulation, circuit protection, even discharge across the life of the batteries charge, and moisture protected electronics.
Guess I will have tp wait until Provape makes one.
Untill then, I will use my mechs for my over 15.watt needs.
Problem is, most folks I know vape tanked RBAs well within the Provari's power, and drip well outside the DNAs power.
From posts on this site, seems like a lot of people do that.
Heck, I know a coupla people with 30s and after thd build ot two go back to 12.or so watts on their Kayfuns.
Never mind, I am going to go post on a DNA 30.thread all about how I wont buy one.
Hopefully I can find a poster that just got their mod and is happy with it.

Thanks for all the kind words, most of you anyway. It's true the provari might not be the most advanced, they might even come out with the 3.0 tomorrow. The thing is though it rocks and I am very pleased with it. I'm not saying it's the perfect vape for everyone, as of now though it is everything I could hope for, better then anything I have tried including analogs. What more could I ask for? better then analogs I'm finally not compromising. I don't know if I will ever go back to analogs, I'm taking it one day at a time, but after 25 years I don't want one I've found something more satisfying.

You made an excellent purchase for sure. And yea you could have gotten it a bit cheaper BUT you avoided waiting on vape mail! And let me tell you waiting on the mail for your first provari is BRUTAL!! As far as the next version coming out it could be tomorrow or it could be at the Christmas season. I'm curious to see what they come up with but I'm struggling to think of what I would want different but thats a different thread all together. Enjoy your new mod. If you dont like it feel free to send it my way!

Form factor.

I hate dragging tubes out and about.

I used to HATE boxes, but now I'd MUCH rather carry a box in my pocket than a tube.

I also Kayfun outside of the Provari's limits. Any dripper that the DNA30 isn't suited for currently gets thrown on a mech. I don't drip lower than about .6Ω on any regulated device I own. When the SX350 chip is upgraded to 50W, or when I get a new generation high wattage regulated box, that will change.

Now, form factor I can understand.

Personally, don't like the box. One of the main reasons got rid of my REO.

.6 will go well in a Kayfun, I imagine. People I know don't, and in the "Whats ohms do you use your Kayfun" thread, the vast majority were over 1 ohm.

But, at the end of the day, why crash some poor fella's thread who just got a device and is happy? Sure, it's your right, but why bother?

Congrats on getting the Provari! Welcome to the club of happy provari users
It is truly sad that folks feel the need to enter a thread about you being happy with your new Provari, just to poke the stick at it. As you will soon realize, it is an all too common phenomena. What really matters is what works for you, and keeping off the cigs! Happy vaping to you! :vapor::toast::2cool:

I think things get touchy when there is another mod mentioned, even if it's not trashed. And when the Provari is built-up to be the be-all, end-all.

And. when. this. happens. several. times. a. week.

The Provari is fine, it's the Kool-aid that's wearisome.
