My fiancé bought a provari mini and it came with the pro tank 2. That topper was god awful so I gave her the aspire nautilus that I recently purchased. The first coil on it was doa and giving nasty burnt metallic hits. I put in the extra one that came with it and was getting much better flavor but the vapor is stupid hot to the point it's not pleasant. We both enjoy cool hits, I checked the pprovari and it is on 3.7. Can anyone give me some tips or suggestions?

Thanks!

I was thinking of getting a nautilus as they appeal to my lazy side (pre-made heads/coils) but i have read a lot of people talking about problems with the stock heads being DOA or leaking / poor vapour and now too hot. At £28.99 (approx $50) here in the UK I'm gonna give them a miss now. I think I'm gonna just fork out the extra cash and get a sofia instead :)

At fist I had a terrible time with this tank. It looks nice and has and has the adjustable air flow but I have had nothing but problems with the heads. Some people have had a great time with them. I personally will not purchase another.
Doesn't the Nautilus have adjustable air flow? An airier vape tends to be cooler, if you haven't tried that yet.

I have tried all settings on it. Now I am just going to rebuild it and see if that makes any difference

I rebuilt the head and all I can say is omg what a world of difference! I did a single coil that came in at 1.5 ohms and used a cotton wick. All I can say is this is how this device should of came. Great flavor and a nice cool draw. I will say that it made the draw a bit harder even with it wide open on the air setting but I am getting a good amount of vapor and decent flavor for a clearlmizer

I bought myself a sophia instead today as i have read nothing but good things about them. Sorry to hear the heads are giving you so many problems though.....

and glad to hear a little DIY has resolved the issue!
