Provari Mini.... or nah?

I bought mine to quit smoking analogs. I wanted something dead-nuts reliable. I didn't want to "quit", have my mod fail, and buy a pack of cigarettes.

It's been 5 months since I bought my mini. In that time I've had no problems at all. It rode down the road on my Jeep's fender, rolling off onto the street when I turned. It's fallen several times from the driver seat of the Jeep (5' height) onto the garage floor with no ill effects. Tumbled numerous times from my lap, into the coffee table, and onto the hardwood floor.

While the bottom cap looks "knurled" from the abuse, the device continues to function as it did from day one. In that way, it's done everything I've asked it to.

A few friends have had button issues with their innokin mods and a 7-22 mod that decided to eat itself. Now they want to buy what I have.

You may look at the blem section on the provape website if you're still uncertain about spending the money.

The Provari Mini is an excellent rig but if you want something more affordable then look at a Sigelei Zmax V3 or V5. These are telescopic tube APVs. With an 18350 battery the Sigeleis measure 100mm long. Sigelei is shorter than Vamo or Innokin SVD with all battery sizes but longer than a Provari.

Just like a Provari, a Sigelei can be repaired when needed. And eventually all APVs will need repair if used enough. The difference is you can pay Provari to do the repair but Sigelei won't do repairs. I have done a switch replacement on a Sigelei so I know darned well they can be repaired.

The Sigelei Zmax V3 and V5 have great battery versatility right out of the box without the optional battery caps or tube extensions of the Provari. Sigeleis will fit 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650 or 2x18350, whichever you want. The Sigeleis can use button top or flat top batteries. The Provari is button top battery only. The Sigelei has nearly indestructible 510/eGo threading. The Provari Mini is 510 only.

I have three Sigeleis purchased for less than the cost of one Provari. The oldest V3 has been running for 17 months and hasn't needed repair yet.

Yesterday, I almost bought my Provari Mini I have been wanting. I bailed out last second to check in here again.

Before I buy the mini, I wanted to ask you guys if there are any other models that I should take a look at.

I'd really like it to be the size of the mini.. If you know of anything, please help! :)

You can't go wrong with the Provari. I have the standard size and have ECF friends who have both and love both. As stated before you can always sell a Provari. They hold their value if it's not for you. If you are thinking about safety and excellent quality then buy the Provari. No one comes close to quality and safety. I would advise going to youtube and watch the reviews on the Provari. You truly get what you pay for. Good luck

I bought a blem mini a few weeks ago. I would rather it did vw but it's a trade off for me. I love the form factor as compared to other tube mods configured with an 18350. And I don't think you'll get the same battery life on an 18350 with other mods.

Add in the legendary bullet proof engineering, construction and support and it would be hard to go wrong. Both full size and mini Provaris have their deficiencies imo but the bottom line is a dependable smooth vape which they deliver.

Speaking only for myself I'd wait for the P3 but by all accounts they'll be pricey. The 2.5 mini is here today and performs well. The decision is yours alone.

Bought a Mini V2.5 $117 and a Sigelei Mini ZMAX $23 this month. Bought the Provari cause I had 2 SVDs go bad on me and was frustrated. Got the Zmax cause was so dam cheep on sale. Price difference is kinda staggering. Both seem to vape the same with the Zmax running slightly hotter at the same settings. As far as longevity only time will tell. Trying them side by side to check battery life.

Here are my thoughts:

I own 2 regular, and 2 mini's, I like the mini' more because:

They are small and compact, so when you are out and about you are not carrying a "night stick".

You can purchase a Tatroe extender ring from Cigtechs for about $22.00, and using the factory extension cap, TADA you have a full size Provari with 18650 batteries.

You can now also get the rings from Provape for about $13.00! Provape Extension Rings

Cigtechs Provari Extender Ring

You can buy two extender rings and use the Tatroe base.

Cigtechs Provari Base

ETC.........

In essence the mini' are the ultimate configurable Provari'!

IMHO

Best

I've had my mini 2.5 since February and it was money well worth spent. I've got the 18490 extension when I need longer battery life. I was hesitant about spending the money at first, but definitely had no buyers remorse once I got it...you can't go wrong.

Add a Tatroe extension ring (Provape has them for about $13.00), use your extended cap, and viola! 18650 batteries!
