I understand :toast:, atleast when your ready for your "backup" it sounds like the standard will be called upon and you wont have to spend extra on batts.

Yeah, its always nice to have 2 good mods. Even though I have yet to get the top of my LavaTube glued back tight, keeps wanting to slowly slide off the top. Been meaning to get crazy glue, keep forgetting.

But maaaaa'n, both sure beat the ecigs i had at the get go, when i didnt know enough, way back when...like the Echo and Igo, and Ego, etc. and to think that the Provari had been around all that time and i didnt know about it, and was stuck with those god awful ECHO and IGO'S. BLECH'

Str8, honest answer please.
If you could do it over again would you have still sold the Black Chrome for the Mini ?

I was just thinking of this exact question and after thinking hard im liking the mini . I could always have the mini powdercoated in black chrome for cheap. I do like the black chrome much much better than the satin . One thing that makes it ok though is that the black chrome provari finish doesnt hold up for long . My first black chrome wore off in the places where my fingers usually touch and left chrome spots which made it look bad.Thats one of the reasons it was discontinued . New black chrome is unbeatable by satin but after a few months the satin or chrome looks better. The chrome, well polished is still my favorite color by far.It just makes it look much more classy and feel is like wet glass which i love.

Overall though i love the feel of the mini with it grippy tear drop design more then the standard . I thought i would have a issue with it being too small however i can still hold it naturally. WIth the standard my pinky used to naturally sit on the bottom cap but with my mini my index finger sits in that spot which feels just as good. Im definitly happy with the mini overall . Only thing i really dont like is the new clear button . My old provaris had a smooth clear button and the mini has a rough textured diffued button which just feels cheaper imo .It kinda makes a sound when pressing now.Im gonna ask provape if they could send me a old button cap. I think i may polish the mini as well since satin has never been a fav of mine.

SO theres my answer lol . Mini for sure.

So far battery life with the 18350 is not as bad as i thought either. I put it in at 5:30 and its now 9:07 and iv been vaping on it the whole time.RIght now bats at 3.5v under load.

Thanks for the answer, it helps me to decide if I should pursue a mini but that would be waaaaay down the road though

Glad you have it and especially glad you like it so much and the decision is not one thats regretful, not much worse than regretting a decision that isn't easily reversed.

I was sorry to hear about the finish of the black chrome acting the way some like yourself reported, that would be a nice finish if it lasted.

The button on my wife's Chrome  is smooth like you describe and I do like it but then again I have not got the textured for comparison.

Are you thinking of a polished finish with black inside the tear drops, and the black chrome powder sound excellent also.

Hmm,that sounds like a plan . It will match my polished with black inlaid line provari too.

The buttons on my V1 and my mini are the same. :)

Hmm,maybe i got a defective button. Its a major difference. There are little rings on the new one for grip too .It does make the Led shine more uniformly but i just dont like the feel. I liked being able to slide my finger on it and now my finger dont slide at all. Ill take pics of the difference. Dont even have to look close to see the difference.

You can almost see the difference on provapes site as well .

I have alot of DCC 1.5-1.6ohm and thinking about buying the mini....doe's anyone know how high u can go with these before the provari mini want fire in volts and watts before the unit want fire?

Im pretty sure the provari will take a 1.5dcc to around 4.8v (approx 3.4W) before e2'ing .Thats any v2 provari or mini.

Cool Spence!
I just can't afford that punch tool from cov, plus shipping to canada. dont have it in my budget right now.
hey', i'm not a beginner. on april 4th i'm turning VET', heheheh. and my birthday is April 6th. i decided to quit smoking on my birthday, that way i'd remember when i quit.

vape o matic eh?, sounds very interesting, on my way over there right now.

Thanks Buddy!

The vape-o-matic would be nice for you for the first 510 single coil tank. It's cheap, and so easy to fill up. You keep the driptip on, push the threads through the tank, and just fill it up. SO EASY. Big daddy vapor's is nice, but expensive and not so easy to refill why your out

I took some pics of the difference . The rough texture actually makes contact with the body sometimes and makes a rubbing sound .The only button felt much smoother and solid. This diffused one feels and looks really cheap. It actually looks more rough and diffused then in the picture too. It has machining rings in it too along with the 80 grit sandpaper type texture.

Wait, do you mean 3.2 amps? According to the ohm's law calculator, 4.8v at 1.5 ohms would be 15.36W and 3.2A. But wouldn't the watts be split in half with a DCC?

The Provari cuts off at 3.5A, but I can't imagine any single coil carto not getting burnt tasting near that limit. Maybe the DCCs would be better up there but I'm happy with single coils personally.

Oops duh. Obviously you can see thats a mistake since 3.4w is nothing. Yup 3.2-3.4a .I actually just tried a 1.5DC and got it up to 4.9-5ishv.E2'ing on occasion a 5v. Yes thats Dual coil .My single coil 3ohm boges i vape between 4.6-5.5v.A 1.5 single ohm id be running around 3.5-3.9v usually.

With the button, compared to my V1, I never even noticed the button was clear, if you hold it sideways you can look through it. My only complaint on the V1 is the button. It didn't feel solid enough and you had to pay a little attention to hold it down and work. I think the new button works great, it doesn't make any rubbing noises like you said. It's alot nicer than the V1's. And I'm not done customizing my P-Mini, I think alot of people are going to try and do the same thing I'm working on now. Should be in about a week or so, but yea, everything is perfect with the mini. My P-Biggie is chrome, and wanted to get my second Provari in black to get a different color going, but for customizing and making it look more classier, use your imagination and creativity to make it look great. For example, I knew it was going to be small and in the satin finish, so I bought a small WYd procise tank by BDV to match the finish, but more improvements are on the way. Work with what you got :)

Hey Spence', did you say what those aaasssswyyyppes did on that guys site for those vape o matics? check out the reviews. what a bunch of dickkks.

Meems

Oh yea I forgot about all that. Everyone's advertising and talking smack because they don't go on the site much. They have 3 stores going also. But I'm on a first name basis with them and I'll call them up and let them know. Are you going for their tank? If so let me know so I can give you a nice tutorial just for you. Very easy tank, and really easy to refil, I can refill it in less than a min. Without getting juice anywhere on it. As for the tank I have now I need one of their tools, a hand towel, and alot of force to push the carto through. Let me know and I'll get a video going for you :)
