Good day today. Finished up my finals at college, and I got a couple packages. (Ignore the non-matching drip tips!)

Sorry if you are missing your Black Chrome Str8! I promise I'll take care of it, Lol.

anyone having issues with the mini using a genesis atomizer on it? (like the line v2 or maxi or something?) my friends v1 provari has E1/E2 galor with a line v2 on it.

i don't have a mini, but sometimes my ody will throw e1 errors. no idea why but they usually go away

My end caps never had dings or any resistance in threading . Always have threaded on so buttery smooth they make me giggle. lol. I didnt get my mini yet though, One of the things i was worried about on the mini would be that its too small since i usually have my pinky fitting perfectly at the end cap .Im just hoping the minis not too short for the pinky support.

I find that I hold the mini differently. I can grasp it completely in my hand, and instead of using say the thumb to push the button, I use my index finger. In this style, the only thing showing is my carto or tank, and with just the carto, you can hide it with your thumb and then stealth vape with ease.

The other way I hold it (since it's so darn light in 18350 mode) is with just my fingertips pointed straight out like playing a flute and hit the button with the index finger again. You can still do the pinky support grip if you like, but your fingers will just be closer together than on the regular ProVari. You'll probably find with its weight you won't need to give it the support though.

Just went and checked every endcap I have since I forgot to even check the original stock endcap that came with my 1st (never used it), and I ordered extensions for the other two but have yet to try (got em so I had flexibility later).

Turns out all 3 of my stock endcaps have a bit of ding or scratch, but the three extensions are perfect. I'm good with the stocks having a few wear marks though, have to look in the right light to see em as it is.

OK, while I'm posting on that, might as well as use this opportunity to post a few new shots (got a few new tanks in today). :D

I know what you mean . i was hoping that wasnt the case and i wont have to flute it. I usually hold my provari with my thumb on the window and pinky around the bottom of the cap and pointer on the button. Not really for support but just because its comfortable and natural feeling

Yeah, I rarely flute it too, but was interesting to try it and felt reasonable. Just tried your grip on a 18490 config and I think it would be easier to do your grip on the mini. Usually I have the index just under the window and the thumb on the button when I used either of the two larger sizes and now that I examined how I was holding it, yeah, my pinky does kinda work its way down there.

EDIT: After trying your grip, my grip style is in major flux, doesn't know which way it wants to hold it.

I did indeed, with a 7th on custom order status. Already got plans for an 8th, but I need to find another mod to go with it. Thinking a Reos is next. I think I'm done for the 3ml size after that. If I get more anytime realatively soon, it will be the xl sized tanks to go with some boge xxl cartos. :)

Now that i think about it i sometimes do the thumb on button index finger horizontally across the window too. When i do it that way the rear cap sits in my palm with the 18650 cap. Iv been interested in those phiniac tanks for a while but i do love my Lavatank.

I agree with all the positive comments in the mini. Even seems the button push is nicer than my old provari.

I have 2 issues. Even after Noalox putting on my SS 18350 end is like using a pepper grinder. Seems looking at there are burrs on the end cap.

I also have a v1 satin 18490 end cap that isn't that old (6 months)It is a totally different color of satin. Do the extensions everyone got with theirs match?

Also my top cap when it came to me appeared dirty and I see hairline scratches.

The satin finish on this one is Much more grippy... But to the point that it doesn't have that luxurious satin feel anymore.

The logo looks strange and blurry.

Any have any suggestions?

is it the extension cap that came with the mini or one you already had.

The extension I have matches, but it is what came with the mini. Unfortunately I don't have a v1 satin to compare to.

I did compare the logo to the black and chrome, and with the right lighting the mini's can look a bit blurry at the edges, but under most lighting the logo is defined. Think the blur effect has to do with a very fine edge they put around the logo, which the black and chrome do not have. The contrast of the edging, satin, then logo lettering IMHO is what is giving off that blur look under the right lighting. Catch the logo under normal lighting conditions and the effect isn't there -- at least in my experience thus far.

The mini's texture is dead on the same as the new black satin v2. Wish I could touch a v1 satin and see what it feels like for contrast.

EDIT: If I remember right, the logo also looked hazy on receipt. A good wipe down took care of that and it looks a lot better than out of the box.

EDIT2: OK, so that edge that I was seeing really may not be an edging. I think the laser etching process left satin particles behind in the logo; and even with my good wipe down which cleared the hazy issue, I left some satin particles behind in the edges of the logo. Just did some more detailed cleaning with a micro-fibre cloth and it appears to be getting the stuff out making the logo even sharper.
