Hi all. I'm Ray, been smoke free for 19 days and have lost my taste for me juice flavors yesterday.

I am placing my order right now for a Provari and have the option to get the five pack of 510 cartos. Heres a bit of background.

I started out 19 days ago with a Joye 510 with carts. Between refilling and battery life, I only used it four days. On the fifth day, my eGo-T was here. I really like the tank design since I only need to refill 5-6 times a day (I vape a lot). Flavor is no where near that of dripping, and vapor and th are decent, at best. Nice system though; but I want more control of taste, th, and vapor production. So, I am ordering a Provari.

WHAT do you recommend to use in conjunction the to Provari? I REALLY like the tank system. I have seen these map tanks, and ce2 clearomizers. I've heard a lot of people don't like ce2's. I've seen what super t has to offer with their 5ml bottle setup, but that won't work too great in my day to day ventures.

I am looking for a bit of advise so when my order ships in three weeks, I am ready to rock.

Thanks all, glad to be here.

I have yet to try a cartomizer. Do they have the filler in them like carts do? That stuff sure gets nasty quick. I really like "tank" style units.

About the MAP tanks, I would have already ordered one to try, but COV is out of stock. As far as LR cartos, that will limit me to lower voltage, yeah? I was looking for something around 3 ohm. That seems to be about right for this setup, from what I've been reading.

I have been using a Provari for a month now, I have tried standard 510's and 306's, lr 510's and 306's, hv510's and 306's, and a few carto's.What has worked best for me are the hv306 from Ikenvape for when dripping, and the drip-tip 510 gold v2 carto from Ikenvape for when on the go or when dripping isn't convenient. I never liked carto's but this particular one on the Provari will not disapoint. But that's the beauty of the Provari, so many choices, just adjust voltage. So everyone can have their cake and eat it to.

Hey Ray J,

I have ProVari. . .eman nailed it. If you've got a ProVari, you gotta getta MAP Tank. It almost looks like it was designed for the Pro. My initial fill of the MAP took nearly 6 mL. It's a hand full for sure, but it will last me the day. I chain vape, hitting it 2 or 3 times a minute. When you get the MAP, get a mini MAP also. Same thing, just half length tube. Now you're in stealth mode. LOL. Doubt anybody is gonna miss anybody with anything on a PRO. But, the short battery and a mini, they may have to take a second look to make sure they're seeing you a vapin. JMHO

Cheers,
otrpu

I run a vapemate on my Provari and switch back and forth from a 510 to a Mini 801 with the special 801 adapter that is now available. It is super, I can use a 5ml,10ml,15ml, Bottle it is the Bomb either way I roll, I think an atty is way better than a CE2 for flavor & Vapor production

I use a Vapemate on an eGo. I will purchase a Provari as my next (first) MOD. The VapeMate works great for me. The only thing I can throw out there about the VapeMate is that you can change out flavors by just switching the bottles on the VapeMate. I would like to know is, when using a MAP tank if flavors can be switched out as easy as when using a VapeMate? I guess having more than one MAP tank with different flavors would be the same type deal, I just don't know that much about MAP tanks.

Looks like I'm going to have to go research MAP tanks now!

Nope. The Map tank holds up to 5ml.. Even when you fill it half full, you'll be vaping like all day on that fill. I have to empty the tank to get new juice in; either by a Syringe from the top, or through the bottom poppin' out the ce2. It's easy but by no means something you can do in your car or something.

i've had mine for less than a day, so I might not be the best person to answer, BUT so far this Map Tank doesn't leak at all. I've held it upside down for 30seconds and no leakage, held it sideways, and no leakage. It's been upright for over 16hours now and not a single drop from the bottom.

Some people reported leaking, some didn't... Not sure what to tell you. It might be messy, but it's soo worth it IMO. The amount of vapor it produces, even on a regular eGO battery is amazing, the taste is amazing. I'm glad I got it and will never ever buy another tank atty again.

Will the MAP tank leak juice from the holes if you lay it down?

Do MAP tanks leak any juice at all?

MAP tanks seem kinda messy!

I don't own a MAP tank just lookin for feedback about them.

I have 10 MAP's and haven't had any problems with them but I make sure they are always upright. I don't like the idea of wasting juice just in case it would start to leak but I've not had that problem. When they get low on juice, you have to roll them so that they juices gets up the wick. I chain vape so it's just a natural habit for me. 5ml goes quick with me. I'm waiting on my ProVari so I can't tell what they are like on them but I have 4 Buzz's and 2 Infinities with 6 MAPs loaded with different flavors. I rotate them around so I don't get bored with just one flavor.

The Ce2's are the 'atomizers/cartomizer' used. It's what is inside of the tank.

Here is what they look like when you buy them:

Here is what they look like after you've removed the outer casing, or you can buy them from Bruce @ Clouds of Vapor ready to go:

Its really easy to remove them, some use a pipe cutter, but there is a different way found here: YouTube - Part 1 - Pulling a CE2 Cartomizer Apart

i have a provari and an eGo... and a couple other very nice pv's. Never got into the tanks or the vapemate (i kept flooding - same thing with bottom feeders).
I rotate between 3 or 4 juices, with 2 as my main all day vapes.

I don't want to sacrifice taste, and i hear the tank doesn't scrimp on taste, but i KNOW dripping is the ultimate anyway, so that's what i do. Drip. I don't go on long road trips and even then, it's a good thing to put the PV down for an hour or maybe 2 hours, ya know?

Just saying.

I love 901's the most, and always have some Joye 510's, and HV 3.5 Ohm and 2.0 Ohm (for the eGo) Iken 306's. It only makes sense to get the best vape (drip) on the best PV (the Pro).

Oh and if you want to switch juices on the same atty, drip some Arctic Ice (which is good anyway)... and then start with a different juice... I call AI my "segue" vape... makes a great transition between flavors!
