Feel like a kid the night before Christmas. My provari should be in the mail tomorrow. Any advice as for as what needs to be done to the unit right after opening. Also wondering since I got the kit that includes 2 batteries and a charger how long before I can start using. I assume the batteries will need to charge and not be ready out of the box

If you got two batteries, then you can put one on the charger and another in the Provari and use the battery indicator in the menu system and it will probably be around 4.0v which is good enough to start er' up. Other than that you just need some of your favorite juice, your favorite carto, atty, clearo, etc etc. and a little bit of extra spare time to sit back and enjoy your new baby.
Plenty of spare time planned and looking forward to tomorrow night with the following
1) brand new provari
2) tank of hose blend from copper creek
3) 6 pack of heineken
4) hd broadcast of bears vs packers

Got mine two months ago and have used it every single day without a glitch. Congrats, you won't regret it.
When I got mine, I needed about 20-25 minutes to charge the batteries for the first time. Congratulations on your purchase.

Everything tastes better on a ProVari. You'll be blowing clouds so big you'll block out the game.

Provari is awesome so far and house blend seems to taste a little beter(probably in my head though).Heinken is cold but the game is not so great
