Had never seen or held a ProVari in person, but had been researching them, and was thinking about buying one. Then H20 Front posted a picture of his new Stealth Mini sometime around the middle of October, a version from VF I had not known about. That tripped the trigger, I had to have one of those ASAP. Received a Stealth Mini and another tagging along with it on November 1st, and they immediately won me over. I finally understood why they say "I get it" here, and by early December I had 5 ProVari's. Ever since it's been getting gear/accessories for them. They are all I have used since the first two came (except for the Megalodon now and then as the only mech still being used).

I had never seen anything nicer than an Ego twist in person when i bought one. I kind of wanted one , but just wasn't sure on the cost. Then I saw this setup online and I knew I needed both things. That was about 9-10 months ago and my Dripper PRO has been off my Provari maybe a total of a week since.

With all the new members to the provarinti (myself included) I am wondering how many bought a provari without ever seeing one. I have no shop close and no vapors who are beyond egos around here. I personally bought it without ever seeing one, wondering who else took the leap.

I bought one sight unseen. I do not think there is a shop in this county.

I had already spent more than a Provari cost on stuff that didn't work out. I would have got the Provari sooner if it was not for the naysayers.

I bought mine for my 2 year vaping anniversary. I made a promise to myself that when it came in I would give up those last 6 cigs a day and I did that.

I'm 3 1/2 years into vaping and 1 1/2 years out from my last cigarette. My little 510 and eGos took away most of my 2 PAD habit. The Provari put me into the total non-smoker group. At 2 PAD, I was paying for a Provari every 30 days, including batteries, tax, a Protank, and the 2nd year optional warranty.

One of the three reasons I will not ever be that regular on this forum is the Provari haters. The Provari became my desk based device. I spent far far more following the advice of the Provari haters than a Provari would have cost me from the start. I am kind of resentful when people say that Provari users get them for snob appeal. I don't hang out with other vapers so it is not going to impress anyone anyway.

Ok, I'm one of those that did find a shop to go look before I bought. I was 99% sure after three weeks of research the ProVari was for me but I still wanted to see it in person. I drove almost an hour to go take a look and hold it. I think it was because I wasn't sure how big and heavy it was. The only mods I ever saw in person were very heavy and huge so it made me a bit nervous not knowing about the ProVari.

The shop I found were out of minis at the time but had several standard sized and the shop owner was using a standard sized. Once I saw it and held it in person, I knew it was the best choice I could have made. I still bought the mini as I had planned from the beginning and do not regret one bit getting it. I love it.

I also bought mine sight unseen. I am noticing a lot more APV's in my area, but no provari's. Hopefully I can change that ;) That being said, when I started researching APV's I didn't even consider it, until I watched GrimmGreen's review of it where he admitted that he "got it" he understood what all of the praise was about, and pbusardo just reinforced his opinions of the device. I knew at this point after researching the hell out of the SVD that if I was going to pay that money I didn't ever want to run into the rattlesnake effect, and I didn't want to ever be without my APV because it failed due to cheap parts.

In my line of work, I deal with a lot of Chinese electronics, and that reinforced my beliefs. In addition to the amount of posts stating "I wish I went from ego straight to this" It became clear that for me to be happy with my purchase, I was going to have to bite the bullet and acquire a provari. I will still be ordering an SVD as a back up from Fasttech (just in the off chance the provari ever actually fails), but now I can stomach the $37 price tag with long shipping times.

Add me to the club. Never seen or held one in person. Decided to purchase mine after tons of research and reviews. The thing that caused me to say "this is definitely the mod I need" was the oscope readings compared to other mods. Being an electronics technician, thats the type of info I want to see. Even though the provari maybe lacking many features other mods have, IMO, its the performance that really counts.

I am also in the sight-unseen club. When I first read about the Provari, my reaction was "all that money? Are you kidding?" But I kept hearing and reading about them, and then I saw several video reviews that made me realize just how good the Provari is. I got mine last week and I didn't hesitate about ordering it without trying it out first. To my knowledge, there is only one vape shop anywhere near me that carries them, and that shop is a couple of hours' drive, at least.

I am very happy with my new Mini. It looks, feels, and works great.
