If you want a fancy box, the price likely will go up to $180+ for the brushed model, and proportionately on the others. Packaging costs money. I personally like the way they do it. Save the money on the fancy frills, the hardware is sexy enough on it's own. :D

A fancy box either just ends up in the trash, or collecting dust in a closet somewhere. Think of ProVape as a green company, not sending out extra landfill fodder. :)

This pretty much sums up our thoughts :)
Keep the price lower because typically the fancy packaging goes right into the garbage, but its something we will look into.

Please *don't* go and do the branded packaging thing. I'm probably a minority but I cringe when I receive a product and throw away $5.00 worth of box and art work. It bothers me both from the standpoint of of cost and ecology.

Please *do* continue providing documentation online in PDF format where waste of paper is optional.

Please *do* continue providing conspicuous links to documentation on the website.

There are other companies that do not make manuals easy to find/do not provide them in the box, or simply do not provide them at all. Knowing this makes me hesitant to do business with those companies.

I agree with you guys, sort of. Nice packaging would probably add a couple of bucks and that would suck. Or they could eat the cost as a price of doing business.

I wouldn't throw it away as I would like to have something nice to set it in when not in use.

I like the print your own directions thing to reduce paper waste.

What about gifting it? Would you wrap the usps priority box in wrapping paper and gift it that way?

I was just thinking of it from a pride of product point of view. You spend all this money on something great and all they do is wrap it in bubblewrap and stuff it in a free box.

Either way, its not a big deal. I love mine so far and I just wish that I got one sooner.

Sorry, getting off topic now. Didn't mean to upset anyone.

I think a nice box could be used as a place to store the Provari when not in use. I am looking for an idea to make or buy something to keep it in.

nah...ya want a nice box to just store it in, try one of these....i got 2 of them for 8 bucks a pop at Amazon.com....ebay has em for twice as much or more....a nice waterproof, padded cigar case...looks awesome and keeps it nice and safe...

i placed a 2nd order for another provari for the wife #10883 as a surprise .. since i got mine she keeps wanting to do a hand off and i figured that since we both love it whats better then 1? 2 of them.. i also use that case that was posted for my provari and her "pipe bomb" i mean tube mod lol.. the case has been rained on,dropped, ran over and put in my saddle bag pipe side on the harley. it does a great job of protecting the best mod out there..two pv fit very snug with no room for extra stuff so ill be getting a case to hold 4 cigars so we can keep our none adv juice in it along with a few cartos and small juice bottles of our adv juice and both provaris.

OMG... checked my order status on a whim..and it has shipped. My order #10723 was a satin provari, and was placed on 10/5 with a 2 week wait. So all those who have little patience (such as myself) hope is not lost. I even ordered the 2500 mah battery and it was out of stock, and it has shipped to.

That gives me a little hope since I ordered the satin provari although my luck it will be a full 2 weeks plus shipping time....

Order #10518 placed on 9/29 - black provari with black extension cap & two 2500 mah batteries still has not shipped, hmmm.

I was trying to decide between the black or satin but the black said 3 weeks since it was in high demand. I am very impatient so I chose the satin.

ambientech, that almost put me off from getting the black, too, but I ordered it anyway and it shipped in just a few days. That 3 weeks is probably the manufacturing lead time so you'd only wait that full term if you ordered when the next batch was just getting started in production ;-)
