Hey guys, I did a review of the provari from provape.com and posted it up today. Check it out. I also included what I thought would be really useful information to help figure out the wattage based on your setup and what resistance cartos/attys to use for your desired results. And I did a mathematical comparison for 3.7V devices vs the provari at 5V to show the wattage difference. Hope it helps out those that are confused with ohms/watts/volts.

Awesome review & explanations! Thanks for taking the time.

Have you messed around with any high resistant atty's or carto's on the provari. It would seem like the higher the better. I think I remember reading about some that would read 4ohm's.

You can use a 4 ohm carto/atty on it, but it would not be able to reach higher wattages - 6volts with a 4 ohm atty/carto would max out at 9 watts. Which is enough for some people - but a lot of people like to be able to hit 10-12 watts - I find that a 3 ohm atty/carto is perfect for the provari because 3 ohms at 6 volts is 12 watts of power.

Some places sell even higher ohm carto/attys - in the 5 ohm+ range. Typically these are used with 7.4v devices or something like the Darwin.

Loved your explanation Andy. You did help me understand it better. I do wish that it was smaller, and you didn't have to push on it so many times to go through the menu.
But perhaps it is worth it for the consistency you said you get. One thing you didn't mention on your video was the TH. Would this be fine with an RY4 juice? Do you feel funny taking it in public, or do you use a different device (because of size) *And I couldn't catch comapny you like juices from...'Alien' who?
Thanks again for a very competent review

*Oh, loved the little doggies coming in the room too! ;)

Jacki, thanks a lot. I'm really glad it helped you out. To answer your questions...

The size doesn't bother me at all. As for throat hit, it will entirely depend on you juice and atty/carto setup along with the voltage you set the provari to. I vape my favorite juices at around 5.2 volts with 2.5 ohm tank cartos and the throat hit is perfect for me with 18 mg juice. Another favorite juice I have is only 12 mg and I take it up to 5.8 volts to get the throat hit I'm after. I'm going to have to score some in a higher nic strength to get the same at a lower voltage, I think, 12 mg isn't enough.

I don't mind taking it in public at all but I'm not self-conscious about vaping at all. In fact, I just picked up a holster for it to wear on my belt so I don't have to stuff it in my pocket. If you check out the provape vendor forum towards the bottom of the page, I have a thread going with the different holsters to use with it.

The juice I was referring to is alien visions, Alien Visions E-Juice. There are several threads about Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice, Hype, Raf-a-licious, etc. These are all different juices that alien visions offers and they're very popular juices. Absolutely delicious, I highly recommend trying them out. Out of my top 5 favorite juices, 4 are alien visions juices. I'd definitely give them a try, especially if you like tobacco flavors, they are so yummy. They are also forum vendors and have a spot towards the bottom of the page.

Glad you like my pups. Kaya, my female, tends to work herself into all of my video reviews somehow lol. It makes sense that she loves the camera, she can't get enough attention from people.

Thank you for the very thorough review. Very enlightening, completely demystified the only issues I have read. Let those of us without one see how it works, how simple it really is. And now I finally understand why I keep seeing watts listed, or I keep mine a 4.2 or what have you. None of that was making any sense before.

I think you did a professional job with this too. Keep up the good work!
