I bought my ProVari back in May and have not used tanks with it until just recently (I was scared to try again after my disaster of a experience with Volcano's Lavatube) but I finally bit the bullet and bought a Phiniac tank and I have a question about fitting.

On my Lavatube the "tube tank" would not sit straight on the device, it was crooked as many of you know (was a big problem with the device.)

On my ProVari, my Phiniac seems to be right on target with sitting flush with the top of the device execpt for maybe 1% out of 100% (in other words when I screw down the tank onto the device and slowly spin it around to check out how flush it sits, on one side you can kinda see light through it where if you turn your eyes to the other side you don't...it's an extremely small amount and nothing like the Volcano issue but I wanted to ask if this was normal? I'm kinda a picky guy and really check things out that I buy and notice things that most people would never notice. So because I notice it well I have to ask! :)

Thanks in adance for the feedback.

I use a DID on my Provari, and it's a little off too. Probably because it has fallen off the coffee table a few times onto a hard tile floor (cat and bird initiated issue). Any other mod taking that type of fall with a heavy DID on top of it would have bent the mounting system for sure. I'm impressed with Provari's workmanship, having several other mods to judge from.

I have had this issue as well and realized after using several different tanks that the issue actually had to do with the diameter of the holes in the tank caps/orings and how the carto sits. For me anyway..ymmv:)

-you may see it go away as the the tank breaks in..Hopefully, OCD as well ;)

The problem with atty connectors are that they are not created equal. Some will sit flush. Others will be a tad off or sit a little crooked.
I have a few tanks some will sit flush and other just won't period. I've gotten used to it. But all in all it's the threads on the tanks or atomizers.

The DID is a Rebuildable atomizer. Jim makes those.

You might be right about that Matrix! There seems to be a tad bit of play with the carto when it's inserted into the tank (it's tight up against one side of the caps but not as much as the other) would is where the every so tiny gap comes from when it's on the device. I guess if I put a carto or an atty on my device and everything looks straight to me just by eyeballin' it, then it probably is.
