Im not sure about the ECF you are remembering perhaps the memories are all roses and provaries but I seem to recall lots of disagreements.
I see lots of people getting help. If someone posts a question there is usually several pages of answers. I know for a fact people in need are getting supplies and hardware sent to them under the table. Lots of good things going on here but as with most things there is some negative here and if thats what a person wants to focus on then thats what they will experience. Ive met some really good people in here and I enjoy all of the personality's its what makes the place intresting IMO.
Damn right!

I remember. . .

I think my unicorn is an early pre-teardrop Mini. That is the design I like most. I will just bide my time, and one day it will be mine!

My unicorn would be one with an ax engraved "has come for you" etched on a limited edition provari end cap released 5 yrs from now. I'd buy one, of course my current P3 will still be working just fine, but I'd have to come back and resurrect this fine and well thought out thread...show it off a bit. By then, there will be 20 dollar 300 watt isticks (or whatever) I think too.

I would like to still use the one I have left, if I could figure out the battery "dead" at 3.7v issue. Keep meaning to send it in and see what they can do
I want a black ProVape-1. One day, ProVape will come to their senses and make a limited run of colored PV-1s...
I don't think they even make them anymore, I can't find em.

So expect a pretty long wait lol

6992 kilometers from home...

It won't fire with a charged battery? I'm sure ProVape can fix it. It has a lifetime warranty...
It was quietly discontinued. I'm hoping they make a special run one day...

Here's an early version 1 ProVari I sent in to Provape to get upgraded to V2, a service that they charged 20$ for. They replaced the top cap to the latest slotted version at the time, put the latest board and button, spring, and even replaced the screen to the newest thicker version. Essentially, a brand new mod except the tube:

I couldn't believe it at the time, and still am in awe of how much they stand behind their product.

Anybody heard any horror stories from ProVape customer service? I've seen exactly one, and that's from one random person on this forum. Pretty weird.

Weird, maybe. But definitely "good". My only horror story, related to Provari, took place between November 2011 and April 2012, which is the only time in my vapin' life that I've been without one.

In fact, since Willy should be in the air right now, I couldn't resist a GMZ Mini at $90 ($107.91 including extension cap and FREE SHIPPING). Un-flippin'-beatable (IMO). Hey - somebody had to cover his action.

Order placed. :)

I got a cool one, it was 8 pm on Christmas eve, and I had a question, wasn't even what I would consider worth answering. I wasn't even counting on a reply at all. 9 pm I had an answer even a couple of follow up chats, never once did they take the tone I was annoying them.

I already had a previously good experience when I upgraded the chip to 2.0.

This cemented my permanent respect for provape. To take the freaking time to answer a nonsensical email 3 hours before Christmas ( e.s.t), just wow
