Options, everywhere. It's a virtual orgy for us vapers. And it's MARVELOUS!
Can I say that?
I guess I'll find out.

Didn't you say this about your Hana on one of your other sites you frequent?-
I bought mine last Tuesday for $200 at a B&M and absolutely love it. I now keep forgetting I have a Hana V4D sitting in the junk drawer in need of repairs.

You aren't the only one here who "gets around" to other forums.
I have pics of my properly working DNA 40's.Says the guy who wants "Pics or it didn't happen."
It's just hard to convince them they're cheaper than egos in the long run and won't leave you nic fitting with failed garbage.

As long as you are happy with what you are using, nothing else matters.Maybe i just got lucky, I vaped an ego and a vision spinner for well over a year. When I was looking to convert into a more 'heftier' mod, it was mostly due to me wanting more battery life. I'd like to say I was sort of 'satisfied' with the way I was vaping, lower power vaping on ego batteries on a aerotank mini. I was looking into a mod strictly just for more battery life. I think when I was looking at mods online, i saw the IPV, MVP, VAMO, Provaris, Vaporshark, and then mech mods.
These were my honest to god opinions of each at the time and how I would rate them on my buy list.
IPV2 - 50W power probably more than I need, clean looking box, but dislike the sensor-fire button. Middle of list.
MVP 20W - an affordable mod, 20W, I can use it to charge my phone. High Contender
VAMO - cheap 3-15 watt tube mod that lots of people seem to use and love. Low on list
Provari - expensive 3-15 watt tube mod that lots of people seem to use and love. Medium of list
Vaporshark - Supposedly the new contender on the market, sleek looking mod with 40W and this thing called 'temp control', on the expensive side like provari but 40W and looks cooler (in my opinion). High Contender
Beyondvape Solara DNA30 - sleek looking, no one really talking about it but comes from a company that I see youtube reviews talking about often (Beyondvape). DNA30 chip sounds like the in-thing. High Contender
Mech Mods - Would get a mech mod if it was cheap and good looking, but never understood why I would ever need one, and mech mods are just for stupid cloudchasers and idiotic people who want to blow themselves up. (mind you, I now vape solely on mech mods)
So when my choices were weighed, this is how i ruled them out.
IPV2 - I didnt want because of the sensor-firing button which I saw could quite possibly act up.
MVP 20W - was the runner up, til I fould the solara, this was the mod I was going to buy, but then I saw DNA boards were the new 'revolutionary' thing, and the solara had a dna30, MVP didnt.
VAMO - Ruled out because it kind of looked gigantic and plasticy. 3-15watts
Provari - Same 3-15watts as the VAMO, but over 100$ more in cost. Ruled out because it just seemed like an overpriced VAMO to me. (dont ask me or explain to me how it isnt, this is how I perceived it when I was shopping)
Vaporshark - 40W for ~200$, seems a bit expensive but since its new and the new 'temp control' makes sense, not in price budget but maybe later down the road.
Mech Mods - Just overpriced 'tubes of aluminum or stainless steel'. (this is what I thought at the time).
Beyondvape Solara DNA30 - I wanted it, It looked cool, and it provided enough power. When comparing it to my other choices:
IPV2 - may have more power, but looks to be made of plastic and less durable
VAMO - Just seems like its not the mod for me, Dont like how it looks.
Provari - Seems durable but costs more for the same power as the VAMO.
vaporshark - the new DNA40 Board on a lonnng backorder, might as well just get the solara dna30 now, and this later possibly.
mech mods - just a metal tube, I dont understand why people buy these with all the new technology and boards?
given the short few months since the switch to mods other than ego style batteries, I enjoyed my regulated mods, I ended up first buying the Solara DNA30, then when cybermonday came along I put in an order for the Vaporshark. I just vaped my Aerotank on those for a while, then tried some RDA's out and got into rebuilding. I thought I was set and that 30-40watts is all I needed, so for 5+months I just vaped and vaped, saved a bunch of money and wasnt buying any vape gear for a while. Til I started looking for stuff to buy, I thought hey let me buy some mechs just for backups in case this FDA thing gets out of hand (given I had no interest in them, but notice they stand the test of time because there are no electronics involved). Bought some mech mods, used my RDA's, used those RDA's on the mechs, and havent looked back at my regulated mods since.
I am the kind of shopper that buys what I like, what interests me, and look into devices AFTER I decide 'hey, that device looks interesting and something I might buy based on my own decision', I look into opinions/reviews AFTER I decide I might want it because I come first when it comes to making my decisions. I was a low power vaper, and I never gave provari a second look. It had nothing to do with whether I could afford it or not, but more that when I compared it to the other choices, it did not stand out in any sense at all. I never looked into the rave reviews or the hype or the testimonials of it, because it never got to that point for me.
but hey theres things for everyone, I used to think 30-40watts was all I needed, I used to think mechs werent for me, and now im a mech user. I never thought id be subohming or high power vaping, but yet here I am. There are some people in here throwing in their 2cents, and im not going to make any accusations, but have you tried what you say you dislike? Can you really say low power vaping is for you, if you never really tried anything else?
Can you say you a provari is not worth it if you've never used one?
Can you say a provari is worth it if you havent used anything else?

Which battery mode was it in? 18350? 490? or 650?I'm in the Provari is overpriced, tbh. I was visiting family all weekend, and tooling around the in laws shop working on old cars. My Bro in law has a p3, I have an MvP v3. The Provari is nice, but more than 3x the cost, and didn't seem any nicer than my MVP. I can sub ohm down to .03, and go 30w.
His battery life wasn't nearly as good either. I didn't charge from Friday night until this morning, and I was still just under half. He had a fresh charge Saturday morning, and was dead by bonfire time Saturday night. We vape about the same.
It's nice, don't get me wrong, but my MVP seems just as nice. It even took a direct hit to the shop floor from the work bench, and only has 1 small scratch.
To each their own, but I just don't see the sharp price point.
