If you vary the voltage, you *are* varying the wattage. I think the feature in question is regulated wattage.

The feature in question is how the Darwin works: you don't set voltage, you set wattage, and the device decides what voltage is needed to provide that wattage at the resistance level of the coil(s). It recalculates each time you vape the device.

So, if the ohm level changes (which it does, although not to a great extent in most cases), the device adjusts the voltage in order to keep supplying the same wattage, and ostensibly the same "quality" of vape with consistency unavailable in a device without that feature.

When I first got my Provari, I thought that if it had Variable Wattage that it would be perfect.

I had accumulated while chasing the Perfect Hit an assortment of Different Cartos/Attys in many Different Ohms. I just wanted to just set my Provari to a Wattage and go.

But as time went by, one by one, all those Different Cartos/Attys got replaced with a single ohm range CE2. Since the ohms are about the same, I don’t make that much Voltage Adjustments anymore.

I just for someone who has a lot of Different Ohm Cartos/Attys, Variable Wattage could be a Nice Feature. But for someone like myself who uses Mainly One type of Carto at One ohm Range, it isn’t that meaningful.

Excellent. I couldn't have said it any better. Can we all choose a different topic now, guys? I am getting bored, lol, lol,,. How about a longer lasting heating coil material and wick? Standardize resistance ratings?

You can stop following this thread if it bores you.
