Hello,

We are moving to Version 2 of the ProVari and this will be rolling out very soon.

What is V2 you ask?

Version 2 includes the following changes:

The ProVari will be able to go down to 2.9 volts at its lowest setting. So the new range is 2.9-6.0 Volts.

We are also increasing the amperage limit to 3.5 amps allowing for more flexibility with LR cartos and atomizers. This limit is for the lower voltage options while using LR attys and cartos.

This will be rolling out with all the new satin black ProVari's that will start shipping this coming week, along with the Chrome and Silver :)

Nice! With more and more lower powered competition coming out, gives a nice incentive to go provari.

Any updates to appearance or functionality?

Sounds like a nice upgrade to what others say is a great pv.

I am in the market for a new mod (hence the reason I'm in here) and so far have been using only 6v so i am curious as to the advantages of the lower options ?

Currently the V2 is listed on the website but without any options for LED colors I'm guessing it is currently red ?
Will other LED options be available like green or blue and if so when please ?

oh poo! I just bought mine and would have loved this option! At least I have my chance in the valentines day contest lol. Anyone else who reads this, the provari is amazing amazing amazing! Dont waste money on several other devices because you will spend hundreds only to realize this is the best on the market.

Use my ProVari everyday now, and trust me, I have used a bunch of mods in my 2 years. When I first got it right after original release, after the newness wore off, didn't use it all that much, but it was always a go to. Then I started dabbling more and more into geni type setups, and started using it all the time... Then I got a Line and well, my ProVari w/ Line is one of my favorite setups. The only thing that ever bothered me was the current limit on it... now you do this... perhaps its time for me to get a new color and a backup :) Nice to see this ProVape!

Sounds nice, but mine (v1) just arrived TODAY.

I've only had mine two weeks. It's the risk we take with any electronic item: the newer, better version might be released mere days after we buy.

I don't have a problem with the 2.5 amp limit because I don't really care for DC cartos (and the few I have run at high enough voltage anyway), and the lower voltage option is something I wouldn't use anyway, but it sure is nice to see Provape continuing to innovate.

Yes, but in that case I'd take it back and get the new one. Most places give you a month, I do use DC cartos. I don't really care about vaping below 3.4v, but it would be nice to run my DCTs at a higher voltage. It's not the end of the world, just disappointing that the day I get mine they would announce this change.

Sorry, Its always hard to do changes or updates as there are going to be those who are on the tail end when the changes happen.

The new amperage limit is to support the use of low resistance attys and cartos.

As for those asking about the Satin Black, all of those will have the V2 because we have not started shipping yet. This coming week the satin black will start shipping, so we are almost there.

The blue led option will be available on all models coming in March. Estimates are about Mid March, maybe sooner. We will keep you posted on when those are ready. If you sign up for our facebook feed we will keep you posted as soon as those are available.
