ProVari and the MVP v2.0

It seems like when you talk about one the other one is brought up, but Why?
I mean they are two totally different mods.

The MVP should be compared to BOX mods like the sigelei TMAX $50, V4L Handle $69.95, SMOK Gripper $55 or even the Billet Box $179 should come before the ProVari.

The Two good things about the Futura:

A. all those people that said they would buy a ProVari if it was vw can now buy a Futura
B. all those people bad mouth the ProVari owners for spending to much can now put their focus on the Futura owners :)

Win Win :vapor:

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I have the provari and the mvp. The mvp will self destruct at some point because you can't replace the battery. It will become a throwaway. The provari takes rechargeable batteries and is built for the long term.
If you read the OP you'll see the point....lol

Wait, a DNA20 with reverse battery protection? I thought that was an issue with the chipset, not with the implementation of it.

A most interesting question in my mind - Nivel vs DNA20? I freaking LOVE my PV Mini but I bought it to be the ultimate backup. It's just going to work, dang near all the time. But that doesn't mean I don't want more, and it's going to be either DNA20 or Nivel (SemoVar, among others). So which would you choose if you were looking?

To stay on topic, the featureset and pricepoint of the MVP 2.0 are amazing. I just didn't like the fact it wasn't a serviceable battery and I had a few toppers that wouldn't work on it which sucked. And, the lack of adjustment above 5V or 11W left a lot to be desired.

I'd want to know where the parts are manufactured and who is doing the manufacturing, how long are they going to back their product, what their repair price sheet looks like, how much shipping costs and how long it takes, what they will cover in the event of something going wrong and what they won't.....etc.

Part of the price of the ProVari is the guarantee and the fact that it's as US-made a device that can be. As a US citizen that is important to me.

If they can match that stuff now and in future then they have a good shot at being the competition I'd look at. It will be fun to see what happens.

I think they get compared because they both have similar variable output (not the PWM which gets the "rattlesnake" disrespect).

If an MVP's battery only lasts a year or two, so what? They'll be something newer, shinier, and better by then which you still have $160 in your pocket to buy.

Shape? That's strictly a subjective, personal preference.

I wanted a provari and still do, it will have to wait until after the holidays. I was going to settle for an SVD. Then I saw the MVP deal at 101vape. Although, now I can want a more expensive box mod when I did not think I liked box mods before the MVP while I am saving for my provari. Thanks for that. :)

I also like Rottweilers, fishing, killing zombies, box mods now apparently and of course, BACON.
