IMHO yes it is. If you've never owned one or vaped on one. Well the quality is really fantastic. Vape is always good and smooth. No rattlesnake, (which I despise with a passion). But your and others will vary greatly. Some vapors love their Vamos. Fine by me. I go for USA made quality over Chinese junk anyday. But like I said. I support USA quality. I don't care about the DNA 20 or 30 or 100. I'll go for quality and service over anything. YMMV.:2c:

BTW I personally prefer the Super T products and the ancient Legacy's and Reo's mechanical. I've always got at least one or 3 of them when I got to work. Add a Evol Kick and I'm a happy vapor. :toast:

Whole house is filled with USA made products only I'll bet.............

Wonder how our Asian members feel reading this crap day in and day out.

My Ford Ranger is USA Made and it is a rusted out POS built from inferior materials in an effort to maximize profit.

Maybe Provari is the only thing left of quality in the USA............I don't know.

I would like it if you guys went a little more into detail with your answers other than a simple "yes", or "yup".

I have never built or used sub-ohm coils so I'm not really sure if that's what I want. I just want to hear more from both sides as to why their opinion is what it is so I can make a more educated purchase.

That's a value decision. The ProVari is a high quality variable voltage mod that has enough power for 99% of the vapers out there. It's looking a little long in the tooth compared to some of the competition but it's still highly regarded. The DNA20/30 do lots of power well but don't do a great job of vaping at lower levels. Those two mods are aimed at different needs. I think the Semovar is more comparable to the ProVari while the DNA are more matched against mechs. What are your needs?

This blog may well answer any question you may have on the Provari: WHY PROVARI?

If you want a regulated mod which will allow you to enjoy your last puff on a battery that will be as good as your first puff, the Provari is for you. If you want a "smoother vape", unlike what you may get from the less expensive Chinese mods which use the "rattlesnake" pulse regulators, a Provari is for you.

If you want the most dependable, reliable, durable, and repairable regulated mod available, the Provari is for you. (Chinese-made mods offer no repair support after their short warranty is expired; Provari has a 1 year warranty, and will still repair a Provari for reasonable cost after the warranty for as long as you own the Provari.)

Availability vs waiting lists: You can order a Provari on Monday and get it by Friday.

If you desire to go sub-ohm vaping or want to use variable wattage, the Provari is not for you.

Should you buy a Provari and end up not liking it, you can sell it for nearly what you paid for it new, it retains its value so well. THis speaks volumes on how well regarded Provari's are.

Comparing a Provari with automobiles is worse than comparing apples and oranges.

I beg to differ. I've vaped 0.9 ohms on my Provari and didn't have any problems. Also as for USA made. Check out a Reo, or Super T product. Lots of high quality USA mods on the market. Saber Touch, etc.
I thought most of them cut out at 1.0 Ohm? ProVari that is. Anyway, I think Batitude was pointing more in the direction of the power handling of the ProVari versus the DNA mods. The range of power covered by the ProVari is more useful to the huge majority of the vaping community versus the DNA mods which are aimed at a small fraction of the market.

A serious answer, which you certainly deserve, Captain is that for me the Provari is exactly what I want and use. The only other mod I have is the MVP2, which provides a fantastic vape, but will die someday. I'm currently debating with myself whether to get a second Provari or a ZNA. I don't need anything except what the Provari provides, but the ZNA is a beautiful mod IMO. If it came with Provari guts I would buy it that way.

I'm sure there are similar or better devices out there because I have some. But I'm a die hard Provari fan for several reasons.
1.- They are extremely Durable
2.- Made in USA
3.- pocket friendly
4.- I've never had one misfire or die on me(as of this post I own six of them)
5.- they look and feel awesome.

EDIT: sorry folks I forgot I lost one on a mountain trip so I own five.

A lot of your second paragraph is crap and you know it. There are Chinese mods that offer "a smoother vape" that's consistent throughout the battery life and no "rattlesnake" for a fraction of the cost. I'm not dissing the Provari, but I know that you know better.

well, that depends what you're looking for.

I wanted a quality mod, easily and cheaply repaired if it broke,,,,,,I wanted it to do one thing,,,,,,,,vape, and vape well.

I wanted it to be able to take a beating,,,,,,,,,

what I didn't want was anything fancy,,,,,no VW, no sub ohms stuff,,,,

so for me, it's perfect. And for me,,,,,,,,yes, it was worth every penny,,,,,,,,and it was worth saving for.
