I would like to get back to a question I had posted halfway through this thread and I was confused by the answers.

Can I use my silver bullet with a KICK and get the same performance from that as everyone else is with their crazy expensive MECH mods? I'm somewhat confused as to how the KICK works. Do I need to take it out everytime I put a new topper on and adjust the wattage like I would with my vamo? I would just be using the buttons on the vamo though.
A Kick will give you regulation of your battery so you would not notice the typical battery drop off as the battery is used. It essentially would turn your Silver Bullet into a variable wattage Silver Bullet. To change the wattage, you do have to disassemble the Silver Bullet and turn a screw on the Kick with a cross-tipped screwdriver.

The Kick sits atop the battery in the battery chamber.

With all of the DNA20 mods coming down in price and the soon to be released DNA30 mods is a provari worth it? The VaporShark DNA is cheaper and has the ability to be a passthrough as well as being considerably smaller.

At my 11 month mark of being smoke free and vaping from all sorts of gear, the ProVari was well worth it. The size or weight isn't an issue (I have an iTaste 134), I don't need it to charge a cell phone or get charged by a PC or laptop (have an MPV 2), don't need massive multiple clicks for the screen output or a connection to a computer to log my "puffs" (have a SiD and eVic ) and certainly don't need to change out the batteries or charge them on a daily or more basis (eGo blah, blah, bah).

It has everything I need. Rarely do I do more than change the vv, and the 18650 batteries last me 2 days easy. I don't have to worry about it taking a dump because it's covered by not only the 1st year warranty, but also the 2nd year I purchased. I take it everywhere.

Will ProVape develop a better product with a DNA30? Maybe. But, until whatever they develop gets the type of reviews it's current products have received, I'm totally content with the current ProVari w/extension. It may have more bells and whistles than I want or need so I may not even be interested. 12 days into my 2nd year of vaping, and *For ME*, the ProVari has everything I want and nothing I don't need.

I seriously wish that I could have had the opportunity to try a ProVari early in my vaping journey, I've spent enough on gear in the last year to buy 4 or 5 of them.:glare:

The Provari is all that.

There are accounts from this forum of owners who have mistakenly forgotten their Provari was in a pants pocket and it went through an entire wash cycle, lost it in a river and found it the next day, and dunked it in a swimming pool. Put in a bowl of dry rice to soak up the water - works the next day good as new.

Falling one story off of a ledge onto concrete, falling off a speeding motorcycle and bouncing down the highway, run over by a car and a dump truck - the tanks on top were crushed, but the Provari still worked.

The only thing which has bested a Provari was a lawn mower blade.

It's VV, I drove over mine with the tractor NP just a busted PT2, don't know about the beer, I think I read that someone dropped their ProVari in a toilet, and as far as projectile, I would NOT want to get hit with one of these, they'd seriously put a hole in your sheetrock, but it's so solid, you *could* hammer a nail with it, although I'm not going to try that. Unless something could actually get through the tube to the chip, I don't see why it wouldn't keep working. Lots of "oops" threads on the ProVari, but they keep on working.

Let me pose a new question....I have two options here.

1. I can get a Provari and keep my current topper set up using my iClear30s.
2. I can get a kick along with an extension cap and some AW IMR batteries for my Silver bullet and spend a little bit of the extra cash on a couple IbTanked carto tanks as well as a rebuildable.

Thoughts? How I look at it my mod can only be so good with what topper you're using on it.

Yes the Provari is worth it. You will know that the first time you drop it on your driveway and it still vapes like new when you pick it up. I don't know that there is currently a mod with electronics inside that can take the beatings a Provari can and still work. I also don't think any of the newer mods have had the time the Provari has had to be tested for longevity.

Guys.. not gonna lie, I kinda want a Provari. But I really can't justify it. I'm a pretty light vaper and I already have a few devices that work fine for me. 2 iTaste VV3, MVP1, a Twist, a Spinner, some regular Ego batteries, Vmod Mini, and a Versa VV. The only devices I use are the two iTaste VVs and the Twist and Spinner. Besides the Provari having a better build quality and higher battery life, what else does it offer that my other devices do not? I'm basically looking for a good VV mod to end all future mod purchases (hopefully). I don't think I'll ever get that into sub-ohm and rebuilding, I tried and it's just not for me... I will stick to my tanks and clearos that just work and occasionally try to rebuild if I'm bored enough. What can I get with stuff I don't have to tinker or mess with, that will get me the closest to the holy grail of vaping? Like the thick clouds and flavor that everyone is chasing. I guess some can say those of us who don't venture into all those twisted kanthal builds + cotton wick and RBA/dual coil, etc (just too much for me), are we missing out on a lot? How much better is that vape than the plug and vape stuff? Either way... I just want a good vape with little tinkering. Whats the difference vaping at a higher wattage with sub ohm coils than with low resistance coils + similar wattage or just higher voltage? Sorry, so many questions... I just want to know how much better I can get my vape with the amount of effort I am willing to put into it.
