Been vaping for a year and a half started with ego-t kit from cignot (Remember like yesterday) and being so hyped. The tank system was fail though. Then went to bigger ego batteries. Then bought me a silver bullet and Loved it. My first big battery mod and worked great. Just recently my 510 connection on my silver bullet has went bad and no carto will stay on. Back on my egos and damn I miss my big battery mod. Brokedown and bought me a provari. YES!! My first VV device and so stoked. Ordered Wednesday and shipped Thursday. My question could the same thing happen to the provari that happened to my silver bullet with the 510 connection, If so how would I prevent this from happening? Hope it arrives tommorow.

Hopefully you'll get some other responses soon but the connection on the Provari is very sturdy! I've seen several posts about people dropping their Provari and breaking their tank, clearo, etc...but the Provari was absolutely fine! Haven't dropped mines yet but with the build quality I think it would be fine.

Hi lap,

I'm sure they will all be in soon and answer your questions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome to the club. I've never had one issue with my Provaris and just love them. Right now my setup is Pink mini w Ikenvape carto/Ibtank w/Sagewood glass donut DT vaping a combo of AiV teas and I'm in vaping heaven! Once you get set up come and post on my thread "show me your face and your Provari" and say hello:toast::vapor:

Contact altsmoke.com, they will fix your SB for next to nothing. Their customer service is beyond excellent, and your SB will last a lifetime because of it.

Basically I only suggest three PV's anymore. All three are from US companies, and all three have great customer service should your PV quit for any reason.

Ok I'll contact them. What is the bottom feeder mod in your pic? I like that.

its unlikely the treads will ever strip on your provari as they use stainless steal for there 510 connection and most atomizers use softer metals like copper, aluminum.
i dont own a bullet but im assuming the silver bullet is using some sort of bi-metal for its 510 and thats why it striped out over time it was only as hard as the metal used on common atty's so it wore down over time.

510 connector on a Provari is rock solid.Ive dropped mine with a heavy Pyrex tank attached several times. The threads on a 510 carto will bend or strip before any damage is done to the Provari. Its made of harder metal.

My tank has sat crooked, at a 30 degree angle before and its still vaped fine.Inserting a new carto fixes it pretty easily.

I also use ikenvape cartos and they're great. Best of all free shipping because I live in PA.

I don't have a Reo, but I have the Provari and Silver Bullet. I concur with your recommendations concerning the US-made mods. They are like old soldiers that might be battle-weary but will never die.

When the haters hate on the Provari by saying it hasn't kept up with the times or the competition and that it will be left behind in sales because of this, I often make reference to the Silver Bullet. I tell them that there will always be a large demand for a sturdy, dependable, consistant PV whose manufacturer provides customer service and repair for the life of the product. Altsmoke hasn't changed the Silver Bullet design in the 4-5 years that it has been produced, and Chad continues to bust .... to just keep up with public demand for them. They are just as popular today as they were 5 years ago, especially with the resurgence of mechanical mods for RBA's.

I can't speak for the Reo because I don't own one, but I know they come just as highly recommended with the same attributes as the Provari and Silver Bullet. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three, and I feel proud to be an owner of two of them.
