That's how all of my BE112's behave on the Prodigy adapter, so yours isn't a fluke. Oddly enough, the BE112's don't behave this way on any other battery I've tried, including other mods. Something about the combination of them with the Prodigy leads to the 'dead stop'.

...and yes - they're closer to an RN4072 than any other 801-style atty - but they do perform quite differently.

That's how all my BE112's behave on...... everything. I still love em.

Brian ... Mine completely stops .... Like, not even pliers will make it reach. The center post I don't believe is stopping it. The center post should simply be sitting on a small silicone gasket and be able to move freely (1/8th of an inch or so)

have you tried a (2) hole 4072 Brian? Thats what the BE112 reminds me of

I tried Janty's two hole and didn't like it. My favorite atomizer was your old 4 hole but only 1 out of 3 worked well. The ones that did worked very well though and were worth chunking the other two. I still think it is a center post problem as I have two Prodigies. One has the center post of the adapter sticking up just a little and the BE112 won't catch the threads. The other one is level and the BE112 works just fine on it.

Brian

My grandpa had a two-holer on his farm and I really hated using that. :)

Seriously tho-- I purchased a 302 atty from Jason at Electronicstix and then shortly after that a couple of Janty attys... they look identical inside: two holes (slots actually) visible within the threads of the base. So I'm thinking, is the Janty a 302 type?

Rambling ... I have to look at the less of the necessary 2 evils ...

Complaints on High Bridge 801 atty's were widespread .... Same could hold true with RN's, however, not being in the RN scene now for a good 6 months, it will be interesting to see if they have made any improvements on their atomizer.

Once the low bridge atomizers start to leave here, we will be able to tell what the market likes best, and adjust accordingly.

It's been over a month now, is there a final verdict on the 801 vs. BE112 vs. RN4072?
