PT car travle help? dunderhead

Long story short I just realized for another post in the PIF thread that my PT can be used on my 10 hour car trip... and here I've been sticking it to the wall? well as luck would have it I have a car adapter ( bought and sold to charge ego batts) at mad vapes when I got the wall connector.
This adapter lets my PT work in the car. So now I'm confused it the car unit for batts or PT? 650 and 900 what of my Igo 1100 batts?
DC12v-24v output 5v max 1000ma.
Can I use on both or will I fry my batts? Will my catro's suffer? What ohm carto can I use in the car with this safely? Most my cartos are 2.6-2.8 have some 2.0's and a duel.....

is it a PT with battery or a direct model...if direct I would recommend a 2000 ma model...also if you can solder you can build an http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/114901-evercool-variable-voltage-mod.html and simply omit the battery from the design and add a 12v cig lighter plug and cable Enercell Heavy-Duty 12V/5A Power Cord (8-Ft.) : Car Adapters | RadioShack.com and wire it into the power input lines on the mod.....instant VV passthru.

if your PT is a model with a battery the adapter you have is fine...just don't plug a bunch of stuff into it at once...Good Luck

Direct model PT skinny like a cig. Thank for the reply. so I take it I should not use my PT in the car? I can solder but have yet to mod anything, but want to....

its just a cig liter to usb adapter.should work just fine for your app.if you have an inline batt you want it fully charged first tho.
