recieved minetoday, not to impressed honestly. Mutes the flavor pretty good IMO and tasted really burned if you go over 4v on my ego twiste, kinda sucks if you use it lower then 4 as well. very ariy draw so ill most likely grab some evod to try or maybe sell it. looks nice and is made nice though. IDK what ohm heads it came with, guessing 1.8. would probably like it more if I had 2.5ohm heads.

Pull the head of your protank out and with a pair of tweazers grab some of the wicking out. There are 3 large strands of wicking in there remove one or two of those strands and it will vape like a champ.

I removed one last night and it leaked like crazy. vape production isnt a issue, muted taste is

well find myself a little surprise here. was hating on the protank, so figured I will just run juices I hate through it until it breaks in or something. So I put my most hated juice in it (black rock by mnt baker) which is jager bomb flavored (taste like black licorice) and set the ego twiste to 4.6. They seem to be a match, vapor production is way better and I actually really like the taste of this juice now. So I guess two wrongs do make a right sometimes lol. I will gladly vape this combo, also has a much warmer vap to it as well. The flavor also doesnt seem muted at all with this combo. hope it keeps up :)

Re-wicked mine with 450 mesh and 4 wraps of 32g kanthal it's like hitting a dripper. Turned it into a beast so much so that my wife jacked it and I have to wait on a new tank.

does it leak at all? work good with thicker juices? could you snag some pics or post teh site you bought it from? sounds pretty sweet:)

ok i take back my bad comments. this thing is kicking some ... now. the airy draw doesnt feel like its there anymore, taste is awesome with this juice and hit hitting like a champ. Almost feels like my cartotank. liking it so much I think im going to order a evod for the vapor king storm battery, would be a nice carry set up with those 1.8 ohm heads :) first head must have just been a turd

Got mine Sat and Dislike It,It seems I'm not enjoying the bottom coil tanks and I equally dislike the T-3.I get thin un-dense vapor, super muted taste,leaks and get this metallic taste thing going on probably because of the drip tip and my teeth fillings.Occasionally it vapes O.K but I always return back to the Vivi Nova which in my opinion gives way thicker vapor and much more taste.I just can't seem to take a liking to the kanger Tanks and their little tiny wicks.It seems the only way to get a good vape from it is to take a puff and put it down for 5 min,It doesn't like chain vaping and can't keep up very well.

Great device IMO. Built really solid. So easy to load with juice.

Rebuilding your own coils is a snap and saves big time money and keeps it running smooth, fresh, and un-gunky. I think if I bought heads instead re-building them; I'd probably let it gunk up a lot more to get my money's worth out of the heads. Using 3mm silica I've never had it gurgle or leak; and never had a dry hit. I just "fray" up the ends coming out a bit. The bottom grommet is still working 100% despite being pulled out dozens of times by now. I haven't even used the second head that came with it yet.:p

The only things I don't like about the Protank are;

1.) I have to screw it down super tight on my Vamo in order to make a good connection. I have a legitimate fear of it possibly shoving the center post on my Vamo down under the O-ring one of these days. It hasn't happened; but I'm pretty cautious when putting it on. I don't own anything else that needs to be screwed down as far as my Protank does.

2.) It does seem to burn through juice a hell of a lot more than say a carto-tank. This is my first and only owned bottom coil tank, so not sure if this is just normal for this kind of device. It's not a deal breaker, but I've been saving so much money vaping compared to when I smoked, I've become quite the "bean counter" it turns out.

I've got one of the Kamry Protank clones en-route to my house from fasttech. Looking forward to seeing how it compares, and having another bottom coil tank vape around to hold another flavor for the rotation.

It wasn't on my packages either. I only know the resistance because I read it on my mods. Heads up, it may not be true for many people, but a few of us have noticed that it's easier to get nic sick with the Protank. It might have to do with a slower draw and keeping the vapor in your mouth longer, IDK, but I'm not the only one who noticed it.

I have noticed the same thing. I'm using the same 18mg E Liquid that I always have and I've noticed I can't vape it as long before I feel like I need to stop.

I usually vape 12mg, but I'm getting some lower just for the Protanks. I got seriously fried one night just vaping like I normal do.

I've found with the Protank that ya gotta be careful not to run the watts a bit too high, cause if you do the vapor gets thin and wispy and the flavor is muted. If this is what you are getting, try turning down the power a bit. My usual setting on my Zmax is 8.5 watts, but sometimes my trigger finger gets a bit fidgety and I suddenly notice the setting is 10 or thereabouts and then the vapor gets wimpy.

They really are great tanks, don't know why so many people complain about 'em. I'm excited that the main B&M I go to is now carrying them (different colors at that) as well as the heads for $6.95 for a pack of 5. Will be going there to buy the heads rather than paying the same price online plus shipping and having to wait for them in the mail.
