Pure Foolishness

I smoked cigarettes for 40 years, pack and a half a day. I tried patches, pills, gums and even hypnoses. None of the mentioned, help me with my life long addition to cigarettes. Then I found e cigs and have never looked back. These devices are truly saving lives. I don't understand why the world promotes a dangerous substance like tobacco, but is so hesitant to promote a device that could save and or improve, so many lives. Just doesn't make sense.

Welcome to the forum. It's all about the money. BT and BP companies are loosing millions every day so they spread their propoganda. They've spent a lot of money lobbying to get ecigs banned or taxed to the point it would be cheaper to smoke. I'm not sure the medical community isn't in on it too. How much do they have to loose investing in equipment to treat cancer?

Can you provide supporting documentation of the above bold statement?

Well he may not be able to document part of it. BT has actually entered the world of vaping with Altria funding a study through their subsidiary Consumer Opinion Center here in Richmond on vape flavors just recently. I think RJR has already invested in Blu. I suppose Altria is planning a similar move if they are getting this research done. So BT may be an ally in the fight to come. Which is good for vaping, IMHO.

BP would be a likely enemy of vaping. I cannot document that, however.

Phillip-Morris was pushing the legislation here in Oklahoma that passed the state house but not the senate. They wanted the nic in ejuice taxed to death like tobacco. I think the were also behind the legislation that didn't pass in Utah. I may be mistaken about Utah but it was one of the BT companies lobbying for it.
