I bought a PureSmoke kit from a local shop three days ago. The atomizer is dead and I have no idea if they can be interchangeable because there is no information available about model, etc. The only option I have is to order one from the distributor in Fremont, CA at $14.99 plus shipping. I've already shelled out $60 plus another $25 for liquid mail order. While I can't include a link until I reach a magic number of posts, it can be seen at puresmokeonline (with no www in the addy) for the product--any suggestions for getting the right atomizer replacement for this thing?

Thanks...I'm really frustrated with this situation.

I bought a PureSmoke starter kit about a week ago. from what I've been seeing (or really what i havent been seeing) PureSmoke doesnt seem to be too popular here or the web in general. I just ordered up a 510 from InnoVapor, seems like there is already a large knowledge base out there. I'm not sure about other ways to get replacement parts (for the PureSmoke) but if I find something i'll let you know.

Man that is a real rip off. $20 for a battery. I'm not sure but it looks like a SmokeEverywhere knock off and we know SE is just terrible. Sorry for your trouble. I would try to get my money back and then get a good PV. The majority of members have all switched to manual batteries and now steer clear of the auto batteries like this one that cause so many problems. You can get a devices that is much better for the same price from some good suppliers supported by many on this site.

I would suggest either the Joye 510 or the DSE901 but MAKE sure to get the MANUAL batteries that have a small button and not the auto batteries unless you just like to be frustrated. Here are a couple of good suppliers of both:

Several Joye 510 & Manual DSE901 Suppliers:

Home - Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes!
Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop
www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd
e-Smokey Treats - Electronic Cigarette's, The healthy alternative to traditional tobacco cigarette's

I found the site. I have to be honest, I've never seen an atomizer like that before. Hopefully, someone else can identify it.

It's too bad you didn't post earlier. I was in Indy last week on business. Could have met up for coffee, and checked it out.

Technically, she did post earlier. Back in July, according to the thread date. :)

Duhh - Never noticed that. Thanks for noticing for me.

Hehe. I read the question, then noticed the poster's name and thought... wait, she's been around here for a little while, I thought she was past this stage.

Then I looked at the date and it clicked. Someone is a "thread necromancer", bringing old threads back from the dead. :p

Here are some pics Liz. Is this the right one?
It has kind of a strange looking atomizer.

I know this thread was started a while ago but I thought I might share my experience (for future newcomers). I just got done purchasing two PureSmoke starter kits and both have broken in the first week of use. I am trying to work out a return with the manufacturer. I just ordered a Joyce (sp?) 510 due to the high ratings it gets on this forum. From what research I have done, I have discovered that the PureSmoke is just not the thing for one who intends on serious vaping or saving money for that matter.
I will keep the furom updated and hope this helps someone in their vaping endevours.

:2c: My first two starter Pure Smoke packs didn't charge - One barely and one not at all. I checked all the smoke shops in my surrounding cities and they all only carry Pure Smoke.

I was able to exchange them only because I bought them at my regular shop.

If you're trying to decide which one to start with - Please listen to all the smart people on here! Invest in a decent set-up. It costs more - but definitely worth it! :thumb:
