Grumble grumble... when she's in a good mood she's pretty convincing.
It's not really a big deal to get credit card processing. It's just that it violates most processors' terms, although that includes PayPal. As for the cost for me, it's pretty much the same, both PayPal and all the credit card processors charge a small flat base rate + a percentage of the order total. The only way to get a processor that won't say "you can't do what you do" is to go with a place that takes so-called 'high risk' businesses. However, they charge more than normal per transaction, which is why previously it was thought that I would have to raise prices. We've decided to try and fly under the radar for now with CC processing, but if we are forced to switch to a processor that will allow us but charge us extra, we'll have do that and probably have to raise prices.
I'm going to be slowing down the new flavor creation because one per week is really too much to handle right now. I'll be posting a poll tomorrow to find out what main flavorings you guys want in the Wisp Alpha. Since bakery/
dessert flavors seem more popular than fruit flavors, I will make Wisp Alpha of that type and have the next Wisp be a fruit type. Also, it will have 10 ingredients rather than 7, and I will vary 5 of them.
The Sweetener option has been slightly improved, as I was using liquid Sucralose previously (which had extraneous .1% preservatives), but now I'm using a pure powdered form. It may be slightly stronger than it was before, but hopefully better in general. Better ingredients, better liquid?
